I know that a few NW guys ran plenty of races this season, but I was hoping that they might be considered Sprint Cup rookies for next season, as their performances this season really only counted toward team owner points. I think this season's rookie vote can really only go to MULE, so that should give more guys a chance to fight for a Rookie of the Year nomination next season (Akmuq, Carb, Litchi).

Don't worry, next season I'll have best road course and best overall, so I can let the rookie award slide.;)

Yeah well I mean car #14. Finally I think I can better 8th place as a season finish in S4. Though it will be tougher than ever.

EDIT - Track Record book updated for all tracks. Do you guys want a combined record book for all ovals, all road courses, and all starts also?

I started doing this at work, and began noticing a few incorrect stats in my total stats page. So, I've remade the final standings sheet from season 1 to fix these errors.

Corrections made:
Season 1: Removed 4 total laps led from The_Boyce (24 to 20).
Season 1: Added 4 total laps led to JoeOfTheFire (106 to 110).

Corrected final results posted here: https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?p=5322497#post5322497

As a result, Joe (up) and Knelly (down) switch the 7th and 8th place in the all-time single season record for laps led.

Attached is every stats page we have at this time, completely updated and accurate, as best I can verify. If you guys take a look at our All-Time Stats spreadsheet, you might find a little something extra I've added that won't show up in a screenshot. 👍

Also, the single-season records sheet has been put on sheet 2 of the all-time stats spreadsheet, so I will have less separate files cluttering up my GT5 folder.

Great work... but seriously do you do anything for work? All you seem to do there is GTP NASCAR stuff

It's a lot easier to do this at work, where I have a 7680 x 1080 desktop, stretched across four 32" HD monitors. :)

Trying to do this at home where I have a single 19" monitor to minimize, type, maximize, read, minimize, type, etc sucks. Working on this stuff at work spoils me. :sly:

How big, where do you work??

I'm going to make my guess here.

One for Microsoft Excel.
One for going through NASCAR SC threads.
One for the office thingy you're actually wanted to do.(this is on display much more then others)
And one for the Babe Thread.:sly:

P.S. Love you're stat-tracking, I'm keeping laps lead and poles tracks in TOCA Legends just in case I'm bored at the end of the season and want to make stats.:dopey:

The first three are correct. However, I never open the babe thread at work. I would like to keep my multi-monitor setup, and my job. :)

Feel free to take any of my spreadsheets and re-purpose them for your own use.

I'll see if I can snap you a picture of my desk tomorrow. :)

Here you go.

It makes stat compiling a breeze, just put an excel spreadsheet on one monitor, race results in a different one, and still pretend to be working on the other two.

Oh by the way, I was thinking.

How about the day of the Bud Shootout, having a Trans Atlantic Sprint Competition.

Say, North America v Europe at 1 lap of SSRX or 5 of Daytona?

We have 8 Europeans and 6 North Americans in our teams, could be a bit of light hearted fun for yet another Seasonal trophy?

Sounds like someone is in the Olympic spirit. Why not make it country based? Go win the gold/silver/bronze for your home country.

EDIT -Is this right?

Canada - Mule
England - Furi, Joe, Knelly, Tom
Finland - Carb
France - Litchi
Ireland - Akmuq, Matty
USA - ACDC, Drop, Mudd, Niop, RPH

Thats right 👍

Why not use recommended cars so its truly even?

Do all the Olympic cyclists use the same bicycle?

How about 5 gold chrome paint chips to the winnner, 3 silver chrome paint chips to the runner-up, and 1 gold chrome chip to the third place car?

Not sure... And sounds an idea 👍

Nope they don't. They have different colours on them :sly:

But in all seriousness don't use recommended.

Prizes sound great 👍

It would be quite like the cycling road races actually. Your team does all the hard work and keeps as many drivers up front as possible, then they peel off and let Mark Cavendish through for the sprint to the line
