I actually quite enjoyed the Monza races as well, even though I struggled with it like most and did not finish well. I feel that I can learn better car control through that monster, if I can teach myself to tame that beast then my confidence in any car that follows it should be much greater because of it. That is not to say I wish to drive that car much longer though haha

Great racing in D2 tonight guys, and 👍 to Oshawa-Joe, I think we both did pretty good for our first night in a new division :cheers:

From the looks of it you could modify one of these to go in there as the spring.

Here are the official results from our league night on September 9th, 2012. This was the eleventh week using our new format. This means that Prize A, Prize B, and Prize C are to be selected by the division winners with the three highest scores. However, since we now have more divisions than we have prizes, Prize A and Prize B can only be selected by each division once per month/season. This will ensure that the drivers from each division will have an equal opportunity to pick our new car and track combos.

The round that received the most elimination votes was:
Round 1 - Toyota FT-86 G SPORTS Concept '10 @Tsukuba Circuit (with Motorcycle Chicane)
Therefore it has been dropped from next week's line-up. Since jlbowler wins Prize A, he gets to decide which car and track will replace it.

The round that received the second most votes was:
Round 3 - McLaren MP4-12C '10 @Autodromo Nazionale Monza
Therefore, either the car or the track will be replaced for next week's line-up. Since A_Higher_Place gets Prize B, he gets to decide which is replaced and what replaces it.

THRASH_46 gets Prize C, so he gets any gift car ticket listed here.

Agreed! I actually had a lot of fun driving this combo after all the practice thrown in the middle of the week.

D5 had very good close racing too with Thrash and Iroquis.

Okay, I've added your vote to the results post. I was having issues with the Google Doc last night. With your vote in mind, Round 1 and Round 3 received the same number of votes. The only reason that Round 1 is slated to be fully eliminated is because two of the prize winners voted for Round 3 and their votes will not count if they become the official prize winners.

When the voting is this close, all it takes is someone getting penalized for the elimination vote to change completely. This exactly what happened last week. Therefore, let me remind everyone that these results are preliminary and that nothing will become official until the complaint filing period is over and all penalties have been applied.

No, I'm pretty sure they can only be used in GT5. It's not video anyway, just coordinates for each car through the race. GT5 rebuilds the video from that data.
 
Zer05ive, I have a wheel but no pedals still (using the driving force wireless). The only reason I got to 97 points is becasue I only had to pass four cars in the three reverse grid races combined. Everyone else just drove off the track or spun out for me. I didn't wreck so I went to the front. Best lap at Tsukuba was a high 1'05, Motegi was a low 1'28, and Monza was a low 1'55.

Panda was constantly making up ground on me but something always happened to him.

Goat had me beat in the last race at Monza, but he hit the sand on the last turn with a second and a half lead.

I couldn't pass Exo unless he spun himself out.

I led most of that last race because I had a good start but dipped the left tires off the pavement under braking and that lost me a lot of ground. That Mclaren is pretty unpredictable cornering at low speeds, gotta be light on the throttle through the chicane. None of my cars were broken in either since I joined at about 4pm last night. It was a good time though, looking forward to next week.

I was counting my chicks before they hatched and checking the drivers list for other racers places and totally missed my braking point.:drool: Great racing last night Bowler.

I will be back next week and I will finish all 6 races this time.
and personally I liked the monza race. It seperated the guys who have good throttle control and who don't I would like that
Honestly I loved all 3 races. The slow car would get loose sometimes, The medium car with amazing grip, and the fast car with no tires. Alot of fun I would do tht every week.
 
Alright, just got back from the Mac. Had a great time horseback riding (despite an old, mule headed trail horse) eating fudge, and drinking beer. Oh right, and getting married. Hope everyone had a great time Sunday. Got the honeymoon next week, then i should be back in my drivers, uhh, chair.
