Any opinions on models made by Welly? Any decent or about the same as Bburago and those kind?

I don't have any Bburagos, but I do have 2 cheap 1/32-43s made by Welly 10 years ago. Do they count? :dopey:

Well if the Bentley Supersports they make are anything to go by, then they are a nice model that display well.

However Welly do have a higher-end market in Hong Kong called FX or something, those have carpet,etc for not a lot more.

Megamo.hk (they also are on ebay) have some good photos if anyone wants a look, IMO they're nice models.

Answer anybody? I have Bburago, but not Welly. I can tell you that Bburago is fairly decent - considering the price. A notch above Maisto, maybe.

I think Maisto are pretty decent models for their price. Currently the only affordable BMW V12 LMR I can find for sale at this moment is made by Maisto, and it looks pretty good.

I was checking out a Welly made Porsche 911 GT3 RS and the boot lid looked horrific. The boot lid line wasn't straight at all and the taillights looked awful as well.

Classic Carlectables, they are not worth the Retail price so many examples are going for alot lower now.
Linpin.ca has many CC products very well priced.
Biantes are the best if you want a detailed V8SC though. 👍

I dont recommend the Whincup car,the Vodafone decals are crinkly and it's not accurate inside. Mine has a paint chip or two as well. The Jack Daniels and Factory Holden cars are the best bet for CC. They all display pretty well though.👍

And I see you've gone the whole 9 yards committing to the Merc Transporter and Vintage Merc F1(?) car. Pics when you get it please.

Im not familiar with these super high-end models but I can see where the cash went.

The engine is so detailed :drool:

I have a feeling mine is a bit less detailed (engine).. Also, the thing what keeps the door open, details details, sick model! I might get the pick on CMC :scared:

You're right, I will make photos when I come home (in about an hour, and I'll try to upload them in about 2 hours). They probably won't come out as nice as yours, but I will give it a try! Never done serious model shooting. I have a Nikkor 20mm laying around somewhere, going to give that a try..

F1 then (I thought) was more known as Grand Prix, but they had serious power. Nice little piece from Wiki:

I just said I only had the shots my uncle had sent through email. I didn't realize it was the same shots from the website, and I don't have the money to afford a camera. If I did I would've taken actual pics. Like I said, I did the best I could.

I've got the plain body version of this, below the VX Commodore on the right (haven't got a nicer photo yet).

Picked it up for 70bucks with an Autoart Viper, had to get it as soon as I saw it.
It's a nice model though I wish the interior was brighter, hard to see the detail. Exterior is very nicely done though, cant tell it's a sealed model at first.
