Well I wanted to save my 1,000th post for something good, instead it's something bad.. My trusty g27 has failed me.

I just completed the 9 hour Tsukuba enduro in our Impreza TC last night and this morning my wheel is not calibrating correctly and I've lost downshift on the paddle! Seems the last 3 hours straight on the enduro has killed it. I've been inside it all morning trying to solve it.

It was a used g27 and I've had it for over 2 years and use it almost every day.

I'll be looking for another and I have my tax return on its way so I'll get it soon but don't know how soon!

Have you posted over in sim racing and hardware. There might be guys there that can help you.

I had adjusted the force feedback option not the steering sensitivity XD

I keep it around 2-4 .

I've lived in central jersey my whole life but about 10 years ago I did have a car club called "highs n lowz" with some lowriders, mini trucks, and imports?

I have been to shows around Bristol tho. Why? Recognize one of the cars in my profile?

And update on the wheel! I've searched the sim board an found many good links. I have it working again for now but looks like I'll be needing a new one soon. Heat and cooling cycles really take there toll on some parts in the g25/g27 it seems.

So I'll try and get it into grand valley on Saturday! Fingers crossed!

Sorry for turning up late I took a nap and forgot all about practice XD

I think I can say with out a doubt that the Impreza sucks. I hate it with a burning passion because I cannot figure out how to take any corners in it at speed and is just hand full. Regardless tonight (or last night for those reading on Thursday) I had some good battles. Me and RacingOtaku was dueling with each other both in practice and in the (practice) race, running all the way till the last lap where I got lose and spun and he ended up in the back of me (not his fault). Good race can't wait till sat.

AWD & Grand Valley... I love it!! This is definitely one of my favorite cars and perfect for my driving style. Spaz was fast!!! He was catching me laps 6-9, but I made a second or so back on 10 and 11. Once I hit the final lap, I knew 3 seconds was enough and I was able to back off the throttle a bit for the win. I'm excited for Saturday!! (Only reason I beat Spaz was because I was in clean air for the first 5 laps while he was working through the pack)

I do like these lesser powered cars a bit more than the full out race cars, as in F1 and Flex, I don't quite have a handle on them, but this Impeza TC, the AMG SLS, and the next few cars in the line up are simply awesome!

Halfway into practice I was thinking how much I've improved since I first started with this group. I'm not finishing first by any stretch yet, but I'm staying on track and on the lead lap (in division 3 at least).

Great Racing Doc!! same with me at first i was running 1:58 range times, at the end of practice im running 1:54-1:55 range time. so yeah it takes a lot of work! Keep up the work dude! see ya on saturday

It's been about 5 years since I've done a car show in that area, but I used to be in Grounded 4 Life, and make lots of decals for lots of local clubs (Grounded 4 Life, Central Jersey Imports, Vicious Visions, and others). I had an Astro Cargo Van on bags done by Motion 3, and used it for spl competition. Then I moved to the import scene and built my delsol, which is now an ex-SEMA car turned daily driver

Yes, I saw that you changed it in the FLEX Racing Series thread and I have already updated the "Drivers Lists" in both series. Blue/Black is already taken. The Light Blue/Light Blue in use is really light so even a Medium Blue will work just fine. Thanks!

Yes, and adjustments are allowed with the tuning prohibited filter turned on.

Not sure Infinital-NG it would be nice if it did. That car would benefit from a adjustment there.

I did get my car broken in last night though (despite my disconn. from practice race#2). My Bob did the Extreme Super Gt race at Suzuka for 100 miles and then a couple short Indy races. All set now!

Third week in a row I'm going to miss this Saturday unless some body can send me the Subaru.

Race Recap

Division 1: In Race 1 micantony and Psycho-Tuber were bumper to bumper for all but the last couple of laps when micantony smoked all 4 tires through the esses blinding Psycho-Tuber who then hit the wall and finished 1.943 behind micantony for 2nd Place. DREX81 ended up in 3rd Place apparently only because he was at 87% power in Race 1. He made up for lost time in Race 2, closely trailing micantony for most of the race and finally passing him at the end to win by only .604 securing 2nd Place overall. Psycho-Tuber finished in 3rd Place for 3rd Place overall after having a little trouble moving through the pack.

Division 2: Scarecrow937 with a 1st Place finish in Race 1 and a 2nd Place finish in Race 2 battled it out with FFK13 for 1st place overall. FFK13 finished in 2nd Place in Race 1 and 1st Place in Race 2 just .125 ahead of Scarecrow937. Both ended up with 93 points, but Scarecrow won the Tie Breaker. Johnny_Suede had solid performances in both races with two 3rd Places finishes for 3rd Place overall. Friend-29 was able to run pretty fast with his new steering wheel, but didn't run consistently enough. It was enough to hold off mbobb1969 for 4th Place overall. mbobb1969 kept it close in Race 1, but he made things interesting in Race 2 finishing only .097 behind Friend-29. Close racing guys! GTP_tzracer missed the start of Race 1 by a whisker. He had a very nice 4th Place finish in Race 2 for 6th Place overall. shred-tec was one and done for 7th Place overall.

Division 3: Division 3 had a good start to the evening, but with multiple DNFs and DNSs it was determined that it would be best for them to join the Division 1/2 lounge. Infinital-NG has apparently gotten used to his steering wheel and now has good speed and consistency. Two 1st Place finishes and the Pole earned him 100 points and a ticket to Division 2. jaydoc_and_meech held in there for a 5th Place finish in Race 1 and a 2nd Place finish in Race 2 for 2nd Place overall. RockRoadKid gets his first Podium with a 6th Place finish in Race 1 and a 3rd Place finish in Race 2 for 3rd Place overall. johnsom had a great run in Race 1 with a strong 2nd Place finish which was good enough for 4th Place overall. iceandspice had a very good Race 1 finishing in 3rd Place, but did not start Race 2. The same with ScorpionPHVH57 who finished in 4th Place in Race 1. iceandspice and ScorpionPHVH57 finished in 5th and 6th Place respectively.
