If I fall asleep hopefully i'll crash in to a wall and stay there.. would be unfortunate if i park in the middle of the road.
Watched some replays because I love replays Noticed that some cars were pretty consistently well under 1:17 and sometimes even in the mid 15s without draft I guess not everyone had time to test as much as i did but when you still do those times after four races you probably should have realized to turn the power down a bit.
And doesn't exceed the top speed limit at the end of the straight. Correct.
Brandon, welcome and glad to see you over here. Haven't run with you in ages...hope all is well. Just to be clear, you should probably end up on CS tires .
I'll try to give it a go this week, I should be free Monday. Just to be clear, I can choose any car I want, tuned or untuned on CS or SH tires as long as it consistently does 1:35 around Autumn Ring Reverse, correct?

In any case, Brandon, welcome to DNE, and don't worry, your reputation precedes you, we know you are fast.
If you are finding you can't make the target on CS tires without exceeding the top speed limit, then you should be able to easily do it with SH tires.
Not keeping the pace during a parity race event, for more than the unavoidable odd lap, and particularely race after race is not acceptable, if someone is not able to get ready and show up prepared, it is a lack of respect for the other or for them self, and should seriously think about going back racing AI.
I know that was directed at me, but on Saturday when I qualified my car I was running mid-1:17s consistently, never below 1:17.3XX so for you to say that I wasn't prepared is beyond me. I was but on the night I was faster than I was on Saturday, that's how much I've been practicing, top speed was low, I got beat on the straights many times, but I was cornering better and better than I was in qualifying. So it's not my car, if I lost more power I wouldn't have been able to keep up AT ALL, but I would've been over the 1:17 mark.
Forgive me for improving my skills, I thought that was actually encouraged.
Iain, if I wanted to send you a direct message I would either send you a PM or mention your name in the post. I appologize if I made you feel uncomfortable.
I was stating the obvious, that we all, you, me and all the other, depend on everybody else respecting the pace, without the pace the DNE makes no sense. So we have to respect it.
I know you have been practicing, and that you are still relatively new to the concept, I have driven with you many times outside the normal event and enjoy it. Probably that in the next event you will be an example of the metronomic pace, and if you do, I wish no one else is going to be over the pace, so than when you get it right, you can enjoy the fruits of your efforts.
We all have to keep in mind that without the pace, there is no DNE, and that would make me very sad and angry.
Should be on OP, I guess.JP has posted a rough formula for decreasing/increasing PP. I think we have figured about 1PP for each tenth.
That seems backwards to me, going up a step on the tire tree makes you slower? I do, however, trust that you all have thoroughly tested this and know what you're talking about so I'll take your word for it.
In the lounge now, working on my pace for next Monday event at Autumn Ring Event.
Will be open to racing if others have a car ready and are interested.
