Well it looks like, i'm buying both the PS4 and Xbox One over the next few years. I will also need a new graphics card if I want to max out games in the near future.

I ask again, did anyone see the full Xbox ONE specs? I missed it.

Found it:

8 Core-CPU
8 GB Speicher
500 GB-Festplatte
USB 3.0
WLAN
Blu-ray-Player

This was pretty different to the Sony one, kudos for MS not hanging around and showing us the goods straight away (unlike Sony who trolled me till like 3am!).

Sony showed lots of games, and many first party ones which MS lacked. Yes the conference was much longer but all MS seemed to do was talk about TV! They also seemed to shy away from going into detail on the specs.

I need to see the PS4 box now to make my mind up seeing as they are similar in power. Might still go back to PC.

As a piece of design, it ticks all the boxes for me. It's minimal, well proportioned, looks well built and is fairly future proof. You can't go wrong with gloss black! ;) It's certainly better than using the typeface from bloody Spiderman.

It was a tiny little trailer to show that Forza 5 is coming, I wouldn't read too much into it. Remember that mad Forza trailer that appeared before Forza 4 with the cars doing flips and stunts and all sorts? Yeah...

Yeah I have no doubt it isn't a showcase for the game, just felt it deserved a better trailer.

Infact the problem with this event is the lack of gameplay, but I'm sure we will see more of that in few weeks time at E3

Edit:No news on the always online rumor then?

...I'll say it again; it was a console announcement. The games are being saved for E3.
Yes, I'm aware of that. Still underwhelming though. Either way, I'm very excited to see what they have for E3 - especially FM5.

I think Microsoft did not organize this event well, Lets give Infinity Ward alot of time on Call of Dootay, and lets talk about Talking to your xbox and t.v and Skype.

Sony organized alot better then Microsoft imo.

Decent enough show, clearly they're saving the games for E3 but that was a lot of TV stuff and also very US focused. I have to believe a heck of a lot of what they showed was US only, something they've done in the past. Announce a load of stuff at a worldwide show then afterwards say it's all for US only.

Same with the NFL stuff, why are they announcing that in a Worldwide announcement? The rest of the world doesn't care for that.

Don't care about the name but the console itself is a little uninspiring, a big DVR box.

LOL it look liked PGR5 to me. But awesome it showed, but looked arcade to me imo.

Seriously Toko? After all the heat you've been giving people about judging what little we've seen of GT6 you come out with this gem after watching a minute long rendered trailer?

Wow no in game footage bar a tiny bit of COD. Shocking.

Looks like Sony and Microsoft putting all eggs in the E3 basket

I was not able to watch this but the info I gather is as follows.
1. Xbox One (they have to be trolling us with that name. Worst console name in history since this is the 3rd xbox)
2. Forza 5 as launch title (Yup I knew that a long time ago)
3. Blu ray player (knew that a very long time ago)
4. Can we play used games?? I don't think that was answered yet?
5. Xbox One design looks okay. Nothing special but at least its black to match all my other electronics including 360 and PS3.

Microsoft has sold me the PS4!

Worst conference ever...

Hahahaha, me too 👍 They show us sports games that no one cares about. Who plays them? NFL and MMA ? Seriously this is big revolution. I laughed so hard when they brag about it.

You keep saying that avoiding what the real issue is. It was a DVR announcement more than a games console announcement. I wouldn't be surprised at all if the Microsoft booth at E3 this year just has a bunch of TVs showing off the games in demos, some hopefully playable, but then the center of attention being a demo where you get to ask the X1 to turn on and switch channels, possibly throwing your arm in an NFL quarterback gesture in order to instantly switch to the sports channel.

Fair enough, my personal opinion is that the last thing I want underneath my TV is 'drama'.

If you're all about not caring how you get your content as long as you want it in your posts here, why don't you just get a home media optimized PC and a nice DVR?

And if you're just about the games, you have to admit all of this other stuff they're trying to force down your throat will be annoying fluff in the 'Box' you have to ignore all the time in order to get said games.

He doesn't have to get that impression from looking at suspension work and stuff like that. Just look at the setting. Those classic huge arcade arrows telling you which direction to turn and the setting and such, could be seen as more of a PGR-ish thing.

Not to me though, just playing devil's advo.

Is that the console or the box it comes in? gosh it looks so non descript IMO. There must be some hard times in the industry, they have no money for anything other than a basic box to hold the circuit-board.

Also it's a shame they didn't change the X logo, the original Xbox one was way cooler than the 360 one.

Missed a lot of the conference, only caught it from the Halo TV series (oh boy, this can only end well) to the long and tiring time on COD (please make it stop).

Going off the reactions in here, I'm guessing this announcement was a disappointment to many of you?

Why not? Jaguar4lyf!

That's the definition of an entertainment system. For example, the PS3.
I wouldn't wonder if the clock speed will change in near future though. Just as Sony did with their PSP.
