Hey everyone,
thought for those who are interested i'd open a thread covering the final race weekend of the SpeedCar Series in Bahrain, featuring the support race together with GP2 for Formula One.
Just today i got the confirmation that i will be able to participate since there have been a few complications with the sponsors.
For me its going to be the 2nd time that i will start in an Race event supporting F1.
First time was in 2006 starting in the FR 2.0 at Shanghai , and that time we couldnt even go anywhere, we had our passes which were only for our paddock and nowhere else.
This time though, considering the amount of Ex- F1 drivers Speedcar has, we will be able to walk throught the main pits.
As always if anyone needs infos, it can be found at http://www.chriszoechling.com
and http://www.speedcarseries.com
I still have an open bill with the Bahrain circuit, because the last time i was there in Jan. i had so much bad luck.
In the first race i couldnt even start the race. (At the begin of the warm up lap my drive shaft broke)
In the second race after 14 laps my gearbox decided to become a heavy smoker, ending in total transmission failure.
Wish me luck, and ill try to get gtplanet.net somehow involved hehe
