Logitech G25 for £99 (play.com deal is back on!)

A few months ago play.com were selling the G25 for £99 by simply entering a code enabling £100 off the RRP. I luckily snapped this deal up ready for GT5. Well they are going the same deal, so be quick and grab one of these ready for GT5.

You get excellent service from play.com and the G25 arrives via courier and they send you a tracking number so you can track this in transit.


Sorry mods if this thread should be somewhere else. However because I feel having a wheel is very important for GT5 and this deal is likely to be snapped up very quickly, I wanted to give this thread maximum exposure.
 
thanks for the info, i hope people snap this up as it is a bargain and well worth it!

any hardcore gt5 fan should look for the wheel experience, now this quiet arguably the most popular wheel has dropped to a decent price.... grab it while you can :D
 
Hmm, i've got a fresh overdraft £1250, so tempted now. However it's only been a few months since i got the DFGT :(

dam that is so tempting!!!

such a shame that it ends on Aug 31st, as I have an interview in the first week of september, if i get the job can afford a g25, if not.......
Think I may just have to risk it!
 
Just remember that the replacement for the G25 is coming out soon, so it may pay not to rush too quickly into getting a G25, for two reasons.

1: The new steering wheel might have some good improvements.
2: The prices of the remaining G25's will fall when the replacement is released.
 
Yeah but its RRP is 200/250 so even with the G27 it will not be sold at a £99 PP right away i dont think.

Plus there is alot of threads regarding the G27/G25 comparisons in the wheel forum, and from what i gathered, the G25 still seems to be the better wheel or wheel of choice even with the G27 release

Nice link, i think i will be doing more research into the Fanatec controller everyone seems to think it's the best?
 
A word of caution about the date when this deal ends. When I purchased my G25 from play.com the deal expired before the suggested date. I was very lucky because I purchased the wheel at 1am and by 7am the deal had finished. Obviously play.com are wanting to get rid of excess stock before the G27.

Im glad some have taken up this offer. My G25 has hardly been used because I want to keep it brand new for when GT5 is released. However just 10mins on GT5P and I instantly noticed the difference. In the past i've never used a wheel but if GT5 physics is like GT5P then a wheel is a neccessity.

Next purchase is the Gameracer elite cockpit but im going to wait until the end of the year before buying this.

I will finally add that if anyone is holding out for the G27 then in my opinion it isn't worth it. I certainly wouldn't pay an extra £180 for flashing lights, slight upgrade on the wheels/pedals!

You have to enter the voucher code on the screen that you confirm your order. There is a link on the right hand side of that page to enter the code that will reduce the price to £99.99.
 
Such a bargain. I am so chuffed with this purchase. I've been wanting a wheel for a long time and resigned to waiting for the G27 before I could get a decently priced G25, but IVOR just made my day :D

PS - just ordered it - ensure to click the "enter code" thing on the right hand side before buying it - the UI isn't the most intelligent (unless they actually want you to NOT enter the code - which makes it more intelligent!!!!)
