What camera view do you prefer to use while driving and why?

Me personally, I like the full exterior view.

Edit: Since I can not edit the poll, when I said "ground cam" I mean the camera view when it is on the ground and you see the artificial rear view mirror at the top of the screen in the center.

Edit x2: The Bumper cam is the ground cam.

Poll time?

I use the hood view, smooth camera motion and you get an idea of where your car is in relation to where you want to be or don't want to be (e.g. apexes, opponents).

I prefer Cockpit but the issue is some cars the view is really limited and I don't think you can adjust "look ahead" setting in GT5(how much the head turns toward the corner). I think I am slightly faster with hood/roof view though.

Cockpit view. I'd LOVE to have the B-Spec cockpit-view. It's a bit less wide then the standard cockpit view if I'm not mistaken? Few degrees does so much to the sensation of speed.

Bumper view as I plan to buy the DFGT and cockpit view would just make the experience feel a little less realistic. I sometimes switch briefly to exterior view to admire my car, but driving like that feels horrible and the game gets distinctly less exciting as the sensation of speed all but disappears.

Think roof cam and hood cam are the same. You're looking down at the hood from the roof cam. I can see the reason why this would be the best, it just feels a bit odd.

I'm not sure what the poll is actually describing to be honest, ground cam? Isn't that what other people call bumper cam? When the camera is placed low to the ground where the bumper would be?

Also roof cam and hood cam... one is on the roof, one is on the hood, it's not that hard to distinguish between the two.

Cockpit view for premiums, simply because i want to experience the most realistic driving. And roof for standard, close to real sort of.

In GT5P I did nothing but cock pit... for some reason in GT5 the lighting or something I cant put my finger on it.... It throws me off. I now prefer the hood/roof cam. I like the sound of the car better from that view as well.

I did GT4 with the bumper cam. But now I'm using the roof top cam and I think you can go quicker due to the fact that you can see the yaw angle easier. Also, the exhaust note is most notable in this view.

Indeed and the graphics look so much cooler to on lookers.

I played GT 4 with the bumper cam view, but starting with GT 5 I decided to play the game as if I was sitting in the car. Some cars offer more visibility than others but I guess I'm a bit of a purist in that regard

See, it's posts like this that are confusing people.

I don't get it. Unless you are someone that enjoys cockpit view. I don't.

I want to see the whole car, that's the point. Otherwise, it's not that big of a deal to drive one fast car over another.

Cockpit camera with the the middle zoom setting (otherwise I feel like I'm driving from the backseat... which, technically, in some sports cars I probably am...)
