Looks great, Kal. I've got a whole new list of prizes to hand out. The overall championship prizes will be brand new premium cars, I'm still finishing the list, I'll post it soon. For the Wild Card weekend, I'll be drawing random prize tickets out of a hat which will be filled with my entire prize ticket collection. Each prize ticket will only be awarded once, and theres some valuable tickets in there, should make for some excitement. Complete prize list coming soon.

hello I choose for group 1 the viper number 51 race car , group 1 vintage my camaro RM 69 ,group 2 modern Viper concept and vintage the camaro z28 69

Yeah, just do Group 1 Cars for Roster. I start on the roster tonight.

Skel, You can modify your post now, got your awesome looking score cards up. Good job!

Note Guys, The Modern and Vintage will be racing Mixed. AKA Our first race will see the use of our Vintage Group 1 cars and Modern Group 2 cars running. And in the later half seeing our Modern Group 1 cars running and our Vintage Group 2 running with them.

I am shooting myself in the foot I know it running the GT40. But I am gong ho for it!

Well, looks like Skel's running my Camaro's...guess I'm gonna have to steal a page from his playbook and represent Corvette across the board! :mischievous: I sent you a pm with my G1 cars pic, Kal.

Already up.

Did some testing. Even at 530pp SS the Mustang just does not cut the cake well. But could do better with some more tuning.

But I am running a semi color matching Mustang 71' for Vintage and Colors matching SVT Cobra for Modern if I don't get the GT V8 right.

Appologies for stealing the Camaros away from you Mudd. Corvettes should do fine. Can't forget Season 1 winner was the '63 Z06! It's a beast and can be difficult to control, but has a s:censored: load of power.

Kal, does a rear wing help out at all on the Mustang GT?

Oh, you're showing (2) G1 score sheets. On the 2nd one, change the line of code from . . . /G1-3.jpg to . . . /G2-3.jpg

I don't know when we plan on getting started. I'll be out of town this weekend, and next weekend is Labor Day weekend. So, maybe it would be best to start after that? Let this brew for a little bit, hopefully get some more people involved.

Honestly, just doin my part ta keep the rivalry going. I had been debating going either all Vette or all Mopars, the fact that you chose Camaro just made my decision easier. I'd rather wait till after the holiday as well, I'm still testing some of the many Vette's available for MG2, and to be honest, this last couple days is all the time I've got into tuning any Vettes. I'm usually setting up Carmaro's to run against y'alls Vette's!

I need some help how to send the pictures of my cars , I forgot how to please tell me how

Take photo in GT5, then Export Photo to the XMB Menu in GT5. Either send the file to me via PSN or download file on to jump drive, upload to a photo hosting site and give me the code.

The Mustang GT sucked regardless and looked horrible with the wing on it. It just plows too much. That 65.35 weight split just kills it.

I will be running in Group II 71 Mustang Mach 1, and the SVT Cobra forget what year it is.

Modern Group 1 - Panoz Esperante Race Car / Modern Group 2 - Camaro Z28 '97
Vintage Group 1 - Z06 Race Car / Vintage Group 2 - Dodge Charger 440 R/T

Panoz Race Car is more of a LMP car. I'm affraid that will desimate all the GT type cars the rest of us are running. I don't have one, been looking for a quite while, so I don't know for certain.

Dude it's an American car made in Georgia using a Ford engine, and it runs in LMGT class not LMP.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Panoz_Esperante

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Panoz_Esperante_GTR-1

The Panoz Esperante GTR-1 (also known as Panoz GTR-1 and later the Panoz GTP) was a race car developed by Panoz Auto Development and Reynard Motorsport for grand tourer endurance racing in 1997. Although named after the Panoz Esperante roadster, the GTR-1 actually bore no mechanical relation to the production Esperante, instead sharing only minor styling points. Only two road-legal GTR-1s were built to meet homologation requirements set forth by the ruling bodies which the racing cars ran under.

The GTR-1 competed in the FIA GT Championship and 24 Hours of Le Mans in Europe as well as the IMSA GT, United States Road Racing Championship, and American Le Mans Series in North America.

Now the LMP......

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Panoz_LMP-1_Roadster-S

The Panoz LMP-1 Roadster-S (sometimes referred to as simply the Panoz LMP-1) was a Le Mans Prototype built for Panoz in 1999. The car was a successor to the Esperante GTR-1 which had competed in the Grand Tourer categories internationally. Following competition in the American Le Mans Series and at the 24 Hours of Le Mans until 2001, the car was replaced by the Panoz LMP07.

See, its not the LMP. It should be on the list!!!

Well we are not quite ready to start our points races yet, I say we have a pre-season race this Sunday and see how the Esperante stacks up against the others. As long as it doesn't hold some major lap time advantage over the others, it should be fine. We should race Daytona Road this weekend, as it was left out of the schedule

How about some LS1 love. 04 GTO in the MG2. Mudd try this car with full race exhaust, sounds freaking awesome.

Oddly enough, I have yet to acquire the GTO. But I think I'll try an LT1 on steroids, and run the LT4 with a '96 Grand Sport wrapped around it. As for Vintage, I believe I'll go with the '69 convertible.

Cobra, I know your work schedule overlaps our race day, but we hope to see you in the field whenever you can make it. I need all the help I can get keeping these guys in check!

Add: Well, the more I run these more technical tracks I honestly am beginning to see the sense of accomplishment as I begin to actually carve through a corner or two without nose diving into the wall. Sorry to bail on practice last night, but I certainly wasn't at 100% so when I froze up I figured I'd be better off getting rest. I believe I've got all four of my car choices in the ballpark as far as tuning, so I plan on concentrating on our scheduled tracks from this point on. I'm still quite a bit off pace with most of you, but on the other hand, with these tracks one small late turn-in can easily cost you over a second. That makes me believe I'm not so far behind if I can just get my timing dialed in a little better. I'm gonna try to spend some time each evening practicing online, and I find that using the G2 cars for practice seems to help more, forcing me to finnesse the throttle and brake a little more.

All these technical tracks require a little bit/quite a bit more patience. You've all herd of the term "slow in - fast out". That's especially true at these tracks. Just because it's a race doesn't mean you have to drive like you're in a hurry.

Mudd, when I get home, I'll try to remember to post the '63 Z06 on the shared garage before I head out of town. I was actually doing pretty good laps with it after not driving it for months. Only time any of the tires caught on fire (turned red) was when all 740 ponies lit up the rear tires.
