I find it interesting it says over 20 dollars in DLC. The complete pack was 12 and the 2nd car pack was 4 so that is 16. Must have at least 4+ dollars worth of DLC coming at or around launch you would think... hopefully. :)

Or it's 4(cars2) + 5(tracks) + 8(cars1) + 3(suits) + 2(paints) = 22$

With guys from marketing department you never know :D

Haha yeah ... I noticed it's launching on the 17th of this month so you are probably right. Must be counting all the items separate without the package deal DLC price. Wasn't thinking about that :indiff:
I'm just happy it isn't like the Japanese box art :yuck:

As above, the complete pack was as you said, but the individual pricing if you purchased per pack was higher. Hence the 'over $20". Marketing at its best!

Love how the best review snippet they can come up with is from a failing games magazine :sly:

But is it still not there for them to use anyway? Mr. Forza PR Man.

Anyway, that cover is so indifferent to the normal one it doesn't even make the extra 'Edition' name work  GTP's news story picture for the XL Edition would have looked so perfect on the cover.

But yeah, it probably would be $20 if there were bonus cars, tracks 'and more'. Though I wouldn't know where everything else would come from in game...

Maybe the PS3 game case itself for this version is HUGE ;)

Thats nothing how about saying your game is the definitive racing game about 26 times of this generation before it is even released or reviewed....now that is comedy gold

Hello troll;). That cover looks decent, but they could have got a little more creative I think, but hey for $20 you can't go wrong.

So does that mean the new dlc will have 2 new tracks and 5 new cars.

It could be that they're counting Spa and Kart Space variations as separate tracks (which would make for a total of... "4" tracks!), and cars from the Collector's edition or else to boost up their number.

I think the Early 2012 DLC confirms we're getting more tracks and cars, or atleast more cars.

But in the description (that was edited out :( ) it separated the variations from the tracks....my guess. And there were 6 variations in the 1st pack. Spa weather/ no weather
Kart Space I/Kart Space II and both of them in reverse, which I guess count as variations.

The tracks just might be Hockinghiem, after there was a news section about it years ago that it was probably modeled, but excluded from release.

There was no real proof, just like the pikes peak article by redbull. I think the odds for Test Course are high (as it is in the spec 2.0 intro). And maybe Silverstone or Dubai (because of GT Academy)

In my opinion, Test Course (that can be seen in the Spec II intro video) and Pikes Peak, because there aren't many dirt tracks in GT5 and it's been hinted that they've been working on that.

As for real locations, circuits listed in the picture in this link are those more likely to appear:

Eh.....I'm not too confident about the Test Course, if you look closely you can see that the numbers start over and you can't really see the banked turns at the end. Whatever, only time will tell (and Kaz :P)

"Including content yet to be released", now that's interesting!

This XL Edition is coming this month already, right?

They can give vouchers for things that are not out yet. So the release of the XL Edition is not necesserily after the release of the DLC.
