Please, enlighten me as to how steering assists have anything to do with tyre modelling. I'm very interested in how two unrelated things are apparently related.

Please enlighten me as to how that relates to GT5 XL in anyway.. I know I'm contradicting my self..

Funny you post that meme while failing yourself.

You see, FM3s tyre modelling is far superior to even GT 5 spec 2 and it's how old?

And I will end it at that lol before you embarrass yourself even more.

Back on topic does anyone know how long Kaz said he was going to provide DLC for?

All of this started because people took offence to what he said about the sticker (which he had a fair point on) and as usual the GT5 fans went straight on the defensive and compared his statement to things Forza have said. They seem to do that a lot round here, you say something negative about GT5 and straight away it's "Well Forza did this, and that's worse!".

Pretty much this.

PLEASE!!!! Can you guys stop going offtopic. This thread is to talk about GT5 XL. Take the never-ending GT5 vs. FM thing somewhere.

Actually let my original post be here:

"Pretty much you are a troll. 100% correct, 0% mistake, you are just a no life stupid troll. Report me, ban me, but you just suck, and if I someday see you in real life, i'll force and threw up on your face. This is 100% correct and approved by me, the one that matters.

GTP rulez, GT5 is enjoyed by their fan, Forza as well, and you, if want to represent your community...that's sad..."

This was written by me. And already received an infraction. If you want delete, I will not.

If people who buy the game now get the next DLC for free, and people who bought the game on launch day have to pay, thats just absurd.

You paid extra to get the game earlier.

Rereleasing games at a reduced price with extra content has been common practice for big-ish videogames since at least the last console generation, and it has happened on occasion since the 16-bit era.

But shouldn't they value their loyal customers even a little bit? Like a sort of "thank you loving our games" type thing?

 Welcome to the Real World m8

Edit:My Previous Post about what to Expect in the New DLC if the Alfa Rumors are true then Likely to be Included but Surely Surely we will Get the Test Course Track in the Spec 2.0 Intro /Excited

That's not how business works. Also, how would you filter out the loyal customers from all gamers?

Sorry, it doesn't work that way. And to be fair, every other game on the planet does this, so it's not like GT5 is the only one. Many popular games are repackaged with all existing updates + DLCs and released as the 'ultimate', 'game of the year' etc... versions for a lower price. I bought Fallout 3 GOTY for $25 - content that would add up close to $100 if you bought everything during the release dates.

You have some special source confirming this? :P

My bets are it will come, maybe different name.

It's already been confirmed, right here, in the news section.

It may change, but as of now, that's how the situation stands.

This isn't a Forza vs GT thread. It's beginning to sound like a broken record, but this is the case. If you want to discuss the two games in a civil manner, hash it out in one of the available threads. If you want to hurl insults based on other peoples' preferences, expect to be on the receiving end of an infraction or time-out. Yes, "troll" and "fanboy" are considered abusive comments. Same goes for anybody insisted on dragging a thread off-topic with more of this sort of nonsense.

On topic: Yes, people who buy the game now will be getting it at a heavy discount compared to those of us who bought it on release, as well as the DLC packs. This is standard business practice - slightly unfortunate, sure, but it happens with all old products, not just video games.

Well at least you're not forced to buy the disc release to get extra content like what Capcom does with their Super and Ultimate re-releases. You can get everything in the XL edition via DLC.

Yes. Really annoying when you need to buy the new disk for something. They did the same with Resident Evil 5 Gold. Still haven't got it because GT5 came out :P

Honestly, I think some GT players sit in their own little world when it comes to video games.

Game of the Year editions and "Complete Editions" of games are pretty common. You often wait over a year, but you often get a reduced price for the content.

As long as no content is only available on that disc, it's not a big deal.

will the new disc include all the black stealth rare cars and other rare preorder downloads ever made from this point on

No way, that's how they'd screw the guys who paid more for the collector edtions and such, that's where it'd be unfair, so, no chances

You don't go into business to lose money, you go into business to make money, this is exactly what PD is doing, rereleasing a game with a few extras thrown in for free, do this to sell more games and then sell more DLC content. Say if they shifted an extra 2 million copies worldwide and then half of them paid for the next round of DLC that's extra money in the bank
