BMW M3 GTR Race Car '01 - 466 HP - 1120kg - 575PP
Chevy Camaro LM Race Car - 525 HP* - 1160kg - 614PP
Jaguar XJ220 LM Race Car - 500 HP* - 1180kg - 604PP
Honda NSX-R Prototype LM Race Car - 537 HP - 1120kg - 583PP
Mazda RX-7 LM Race Car - 525 HP - 1080kg - 595PP
Mazda RX-8 Concept Race Car - 525 HP - 1100kg - 595PP
Nissan 350Z Concept LM Race Car - 524HP - 1120kg - 604PP

Track: Circuit de la Sarthe 2009 (Time Change)
There will be 20 minutes of qualifying starting at 10PM EDT, followed by 1.5 hours of racing, which should cover 20 laps with a fair number of pit stops.

Regulations:
Boost: Off
Penalty: Weak (and Effective for Free Run)
Visible Damage: Off
Mechanical Damage: Light
Slipstream Strength: Weak
Tire Wear/Fuel Consumption: On
Grip Reduction: Real
Tire Restrictions: Racing Hard
Vehicle Tuning: Prohibited
Driving Aids: Only ABS allowed

Do we have to make one compound change?

Im definately going to race! This looks awesome with the no tuning AND I see racing hard tires... sweet
 
Just a couple of questions... will this be that in 1.5 hrs of racing, we will go from day, to night, back to day? Could we have it more realistic like Dusk Qualifying, Then the Race starts at night and stays night, no morning.

Well, the actual race starts at 3PM, so why don't we start the qualifying during the day and try to start around 3, then we can end at night.

I got you, going to race on France time... Cool, Just don't want it to go through the time cycle too fast, maybe have race end just as it gets dark and the fireworks start. That's a way to end the race, just have to test to get the timing down for the time cycle.
 
I'll check it out!

I'll let you know what car I'll be using a little later.

Right! BTW, I'm in my lounge testing cars right now.
 
I think I might use a different car cause the RX-8 hits top speed at 183mph. I might stay with it tho cause it just gets there before the chicanes and Indianapolis

It's looking like all of them peak out at just over 180.
 
Since I only have two of the cars at the moment , I'll use the Mazda RX-7 LM Race Car - 525 HP - 1080kg - 595PP

Just finished actually. All of them top out from 185-190, the Z and NSX are the fastest, but they are a little dicier on the handling side compared to the RXs. The Camaro handles great, but it is slow on the straights. It may be able to hang in the draft though. This race is not going to be a draft-pass fest, it's going to be a test of who can keep their car on the road and avoid penalties.

You can run the same car. There's only 5 to choose from, there will be duplicates.

Depending how my week finishes I will try to make this one, will have a definite answer by Friday morning. Just trying to narrow down a selection now but was wondering, for the "Honda NSX-R Prototype LM Race Car... is that supposed to Road Car ?

Not sure if there are 2 separate models so I just want to be sure since I only have the 'road car'.

There are two separate models, Road and Race. The race car has a full livery, the road car is just a solid color.
 
I have all of these, plus a couple more that were too fast. The Fairlady Z LM Race Car looks exactly the same as the 350Z, but has more HP. They're both stock, I can't figure that one out. There's also a GT-R LM Race Car, but it has even more power than the Fairlady. There's also a S2000 LM Race Car, but it's way too slow.

Was afraid you would say that, but I'm glad I noticed that before qualifying.. "Hey dude, wrong car!"

I did not want to know I'm missing a rare car :( That damn link that tells you when a car comes up has me hunting down everything, I think its driving me a bit batty.
