I hope that 25% or less of GT6 new car's are Japanese. Im sick of these bias idiot devs who focus on Japanese cars so much simply because they are japanese. I like Japanese cars but they don't look as nice as European cars. This was never an issue in Forza which had way more variety instead of being bias for one nation.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wgXBaM2yPL0 According to this over 60% are Japanese cars.

The devs need to know about this problem and I doubt they do, expect at least 40% of the new cars to be Japanese.

PD say that all GT5 cars will be ported to GT6. With the supposed initial starting car number at 1200 before the proposed monthly DLC, expect it to stay around the same or go down slightly. In other words GT6 won't be much different. Also, PD is a Japanese studio.

Dude, GT6 will include all cars from gt5 + 200 new ones, but some of them will be japanese.

How could anybody expext it to be less than 50%?
GT5 1000cars - 60% = 600
GT6 1000+200(including japanese ones) cars - >600 = >50%

Need more european cars, Japanese cars are fine in general, but please get rid of micras and midgets with 20 BHP. So unnecessary.

Unnecessary for you, but that does mean the same applies for everyone.

While GT has a lot of US and European cars missing, that should not be at the expense of any other car.

Well said 👍

Am I not entitled to my opinion?

What is wrong with musclecars or Midgets? What sets GT apart from other gaming series is the variety - remove that and you remove a key reason for me at least in playing GT.

Variety is good as long as you make full use of it. I have never seen someone actually driving one of those.

oh and Nascar and US musclecars too.
And especially Citroën Xsara Picasso, Fiat Multipla, Mercedes Vaneo, Peugeot 308 CC, Fiat Palio, Ford Scorpio, Pontiac Aztec, Ssangyong Rodius.

Id prefer exotics to more casual manufacturers over Midgets etc... They may be good fun, but I fail to see the point as a whole.

What is the point of removing cars you don't like, when um, you can just not use them in the first place? Thus, the people that like the cars you request be removed, aren't disappointed.

The "point" is to have a wide array of vehicles to drive. One of the whole plus points of the Gran Turismo series as a whole is you can take a casual four-pot banger and milk 400 ridiculous horsepower or something equally ridiculous out of it and race it on a track. There is also an appeal of being able to drive your own car on there.

And when did I say your were not entitled to your opinion?

I didn't, rather you seem to be objecting to anyone who holds a differing opinion to yours.

I would suggest that you calm down a little and think before you post.

Variety is good as long as you make full use of it. I have never seen someone actually driving one of those.

So because you've never seen one being used (despite them being quite popular on-line) then no one should be able to use them?

Once again you are taking your opinion and attempting to force it on others, personally I want all cars in GT (or any sim for that matter).

Going by PD logic, "variety" counts as having multiple versions of the Mazda Miata, Toyota Yaris, and other unnecessary copies of the same cars. Why does anyone need more than one of each generation of Miata? NA, NB, NC. One car for each generation would be enough.

I agree with this.
GT without these variety of cars would be just yet another boring racing game. :yuck:

On this point I would agree, what are even worse are the exact same cars, simply with different names (Clio / Lucieta for example).

Lets not forget the Opel Speedster and Vauxhall VX220 (if that is the correct name).

Why should variation only be restricted to looks? Just because two cars look the same does mean that they are the same.

The point is not to have every Yaris (although a lot of people approach it from that angle), the point is that you can get the one you like the best.

If you're not interested in the supermini segment, then you probably won't care, but for those who are, the subtle differences often matters a great deal.

From my experience, superminis and hot hatches often produces the best races, because they're even in performance and relatively easy to handle, so the races often stay close and exciting, even with players of different skill level.

I don't have a problem with that. If the car list was restricted to a certain number of vehicles then it would be a problem because they would take a spot from another car that could have been included instead. That's not the case though. If you live in Japan it's great if you could pick up the Lutecia, if you live in Europe it's great if you could pick up the Clio. You don't have to buy both, unless you want one for stock and one for tuning.

Yes but the problem is those cars are included as separate cars in the car list so as a number on a box it's very misleading.

If I released a free game tomorrow and said it had 20 cars you might think that was reasonable, surely you would feel somewhat misled if it turned out there were just two unique cars with 10 name/region/minor trim variations?

That is my issue, if they include those varients don't count them as an extra car and mislead us as to how many unique cars there really is.

I wish there were more JDM cars actually.

Although there are some european cars that aren't in there that I would like to see like E30's and VR6 golfs (Mk2/3) etc.

You didn't have to be a whiny b**ch about it though.
