The Race: Hotlap

The Rules:

1. You must have 2 tires on the track at all times.
2. The rumble strips are considered part of the track.
3. No wall riding or touching.
4. No short cutting.
5. No hybrids
6. No cheating of any kind.
7. Save Your Submitted Lap Replay

Time Discussion: All "T" Times.

The deadline: All Times Due before 00.00hrs Central Standard Time (New Orleans, Louisiana, America), Tuesday the 21st. (Same as 06.00hrs London. Tuesday the 21st.)

now this will be very interesting indeed. lots of corners to test out the skyline, and some nice straights, even though the straights are curved.

Nice combination kent, once i finish off the 2nd last race in polyphony cup (dont want to do 72laps of cote in the F1) i will start on this.

PS i seen you changed your name, from gokents to kent. nice

I am so tempted to join the WRS for this one, I've run my qualifier already and have a time I could submit to get into the game, I still remember your invite GoKents. I'm just loving running a R34 around the Nurburgring in the latest GT4 demo You may be hearing from me GoKents.

lol, its not too bad, oversteers a bit, but it never understeers, at least in this form of hp anyway. This is the hand to beat so far (and for some of you that wont be hard at all)

I was proud of this lap, it felt good and its a great start.

Gave it a quick spin, got a clean lap of 29.725 / 1:18.786

What a hunk of crap this car is, I remember why I hate TT4 now.👎 :lol:

Maybe if I can get some motivation up I'll try it again this weekend. :boggled:

I did a few laps, I can improve a fair on my first two secotrs but I'm happy with my overall time so far.

Eventhough the stock tires make me feel like I'm playing GPL and not GT3, I still love the Skyline. Once I turned the TCS on, the car felt more controllable, but there was little to no effect on my times.

Fan-tastic combo, i gotta have a go on this, but my RL will stand in my way before the weekend.But still this is the best combo in weeks

I'm sure your times will come down over the week, just stay smooth and ease onto the throttle on certain corner exits if the tail slides away from you. You'll figure out where.👍

I used the DS2 for this run since I didn't work on it too long. I'll set up the DFP and give it a spin this weekend, time permitting. Should be a bit smoother and faster. I usually end up getting obsessed when that happens, though. :lol:

I wont be racing this round, as I have already made prior arrangements with a few drivers for a database assault, and it's a good enough excuse for me to bow out of a combo that I wouldn't really be any good at anyway 👍

Wow am I rusty in GT3. I've been running around the Nurburgring in a Skyline R34 for 2 weeks straight, this is so different. What I like about the Skyline R34 is that is it so brutish and brutal. At the Nurburgring one can let it run. Here it is all about restraint and being smooth. Hard to do since the physics are alot different in GT3 than the GT4 demo. Had to go back to the DS2 for this.

Plus it has been over 18 months since I last did any OLR. Kents put me in Div 2 and seeing some of the times I am not that far off (phew), though I need some work.
