I think we should make a big thread of things we want changed from gt4 and new things we want in GT5. Then we can organize it and send a list to PD as suggestions. Being that we have like 45,000 members i think PD will at least look at our ideas. I dont know if people will think this is a good idea or not but it would be nice if it could be sticked and people can add thier ideas. I think GT5 will probably be on the ps3 with the new blue ray disks that can hold like 50gb. This means there is really no limit to what GT5 can have. I know there are a lot of people who still dont have gt4, me included, but we have already learnd a lot about it and there are some that have it.

please keep the number of posts to as little as possible. Every few weeks i will go through and copy all the ideas into this post so they are easy to read. Try to only post if you are posting ideas. They can be cars tracks features whatever. Try to group your ideas and put a line (space) in between them as i have done below. when listing cars list them by make.

GT wish list:
1. I would like to see parts that physically have mass. You want that TCS? Well, it will weigh down your car by a few pounds... Getting those hardcore brakes? They're heavier than the stock ones you have now... Then it would be great to have several 'makes' of parts, like different brakepads that sacrifice cost and mass for strength or are light and cheap but crappy... This would get rid of a lot of the linear tuning that is currently the only way.
2. Customizable body modifications a la NFSU...Paint jobs, Decals, Body mods, 3D rims... I know this is mostly tuner culture but it's a great way to show your creativity in such a game .
3. Better AI. Mindless drones are sooo 6 years ago. Online too, obviously.
4. Real Time Weather and Daytime changes
4. More of everything

This is a repost from another thread. Because I'm lazy.

Basically....
1 The entire Porsche lineup (old cars and new)
2 More real world circuits
3 very good AI (Ability to teach it depending on your skill)
4 Dynamic weather
5 addition of clutch
6 DFP 3 with integrated clutch system (3 pedals and steering wheel)
and maybe a 6 speed H-shifter :dopey:
7 Fully recorded sounds of engines and exhausts at all the rev ranges
8 complete tuning capabilities(aerodynamics and mechanical)
9 large list of aftermarket tuning companies
10 difference in, example, an HKS turbo and a Greddy turbo.

and finally Near CG graphics :sly:
All of this will be possible considering the cell processor + Nvidia gpu + bluray disc

I'm sure i forgot some stuff

Well I dont have the game yet but going on the things Ive arnt in so far...

1. Up to 50 cars on track at once, and cars of different classes for some races e.g JGTC 500 and 300
2. Tracks - Bathurst, Autopolis, Spa, Shanghi.
3. Damage - Body wear from rubish on track, Animmated rabbits that randomly run acoss track on Nurburgring, Kangaroos on Bathurst, all causing damage to your car when hit.
4. Better sound, like GTR
5. Free Driving Force Pro II wheels for all!

But at the moment I want GT4!

How's about those pesky cameramen??

I like the mass idea, I never really thought of it before, but it would make a sizeable difference in handling over what we have now. Seeing as you can't actually add weight to your car through the parts you add while tuning it, but you can remove weight.

Also, it would be cool if the racing flywheels and crap like that in the tranny area actually changed the weight of the vehicle too.

*Real time weather and lighting
*realistic crash physics
*interactive 1st-person-view garage to view cars
*dramatically improved AI
*Porsche and Ferrari
*online play
*d/l your own music play list
*skid marks

It's been 48 hours since the Japanes release and already you want GT5?!

I kid not!, if the PS3 is coming out in less than 2 years, PD wouldn't wait too long to realease GT5,. I'm sure they have been working on it already!

lets try not to clutter up the thread.

is this going to be sticked?
Stickied? Hello, GT4 has only bbeen released in one country adn you want a thread on an unannounced-and-possibly-unlikely-sequel? Should we even answer that or not?

I don't think any GT5 thread is going to be stickied any time soon ... or at least until GT5 is officially announced.

what do u think the chances of them not making gt5 are? maybe 1 in 1,000,000. They will start producing it soon so we will have to say what we want to soon

Still way to early for this thread to be stickied. I'd prefer to play GT4 first before I even considered GT5 and making a thread on it.

well you shouldnt have posted in this thread casue thats what its for. Plenty of poeple have given suggestions already so it looks like your the odd man out.

Good luck getting this stickied. come to think of it...pretty much all of the other discussions here aren't stickied. The ones that are...well, those are considered necessary...so why should this one be stickied? Besides...somewhere, there's already a thread on this. Look around a bit, maybe on page 2 or something. If it's locked, there's probably a reason.

Balanced number of cars.

IF Japan can get 10 versions of the Skyline I want 10 versions of the BMW 3 Series.

I want a huge open "carpark" where we can set our own course or even just drive around it for the fun of it.

Bathurst would be a good addition to the tracks:)

At least 1500 cars? :)

I don't think anyone is in any position to make suggestions as to how to improve GT4 when you haven't even played it yet.

i dont think whether ive played it or not has to do with other peoples suggestions. The thread title also has "THINGS WANTED IN GT5" . Even if they havent palyed it they can still say things they want.
