OK, that leaves me 0 confidence high 17s will even be a top 5. How close/deep are you into the 16s?

I was at 18.0s and am now at sub 17.5s by lap 3 of a stint. I'm flirting with 17.2s and think I can get into the 16s on light fuel.
 
That's the one thing I've never been keen on in series racing, the disparity between the amount of time and laps people put into an event.

Lol. Practice makes me not the slowest. I'm still slow but this at least makes me competitive.

alright... just moved myself over to the late show. And swapped into the '95. Mind as well play it safe and take the car that I'm more consistent in. Anyone else coming over to the dark side? Probably 2-3 more would even it up nicely. If @BrosifDuder comes over that would be all 3 purple cars in one room. ;)
 
I might be able to move to the later time, not sure. Vast improvements on my time after watching Brosif and Carracer for a while. Finally jumped onto the track and with some practice I'm in the mid 18s. Still slow I know but it's the most improvement I've shown all week so I'm pretty stoked.
 
Anyone know how to get rid of lift-off trail brake oversteer? Like turn 3 at Silverstone International (hard right) I'm hard on the brakes, downshifting to 2nd gear and when I start to let off the brakes and turn in the rear jumps out. So damn annoying.

I've been increasing the deceleration sensitivity on the LSD to help lift off oversteer I'm at 12/25/17 for LSD settings.
My suspensions is stock with rear toe at 0.05

I do all my braking before the corner and either go in hot letting it scrub speed or trail the throttle to keep momentum. Trying to cure it with tuning always made the car slower for me... so I fixed the meat sack in the chair. It doesn't really do it in the 1.8L cars... I only noticed it in the 89 & 91. Also really low brake settings helped... Think I'm @ 2,2 in the 91.

Raising, or lowering Decel LSD helps? I was decreasing it with no effect, maybe I was going the wrong way.

lowering it should increase lift-off oversteer. raising it should reduce it.. but it makes it harder to point the car into the corner so my diff is 5,20,5.

Thirty minute of practice got me a 17.351 but I'm lacking consistency.
 
I can't make the first time slot anymore because I doubt I'll be awake for the race. I'm trying to register for the later slot, but I can't remember my stupid password on the PURE site. Can't we just have a simpler way of registering for these races without going on a different website? :indiff:

Rear toe adjusting should help. The LSD comes into effect in de-cel during the brakes being applied. The Toe will affect stability.
 
I could probably get into the 1:16's if I could even make a half decent tune, the best I've come up with so far is 0.8 seconds slower than default :lol:
