That's about my average. If I punish the tires for a lap I can pull off the 18.1xx, but my average laps are mid to high 18's.

Try this: (what I am running)

92/95
9/6
4/4
4/4
3/3
1.0/1.5
0.00/0.00
Stock LSD

Or this: https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/threads/motor-city-tunes-gt6.291066/page-2#post-9100890

Edit: New specs are up in OP.

17.9 in the 97 @ current specs. 18.1 in the 89 @ 940

Edit: Going to be opening a room unless there is one already open..

Re-Edit: R1600 I will be switching to the 97 for FMSC. I feel its a stronger performer.

Current specs as posted in OP at the moment? I just changed them on the earlier cars.

Just re-register using the link in the OP, it will overwrite your existing registration.

Ok. Feel more evenly matched now.. just turned a 17.99 in the 89. While my best is a 17.893 in the 97..

Found by removing 5kg form the 89 it will go 17.8's.

Edit- Room Open

I'm going to have to run the new vs. old at more than just silverstone before I make any comments. It's really about the average lap across the whole calendar.

Make sure to set the tire wear in the room on "fast".

I would be highly surprised if you find a racing league on GTP using SRF.

Yes, SRF is off and mostly likely the only aid will be ABS.

By the way, what will the tire wear be set to?

Fast.

Also, room settings sheet is now live in the OP. Just click the room settings button and it'll open a simple google docs page with everything you need. The track settings (laps, weather, time) is just an example and will change for every race.

tought

I didn't think that was fast tbh... some are saying they are getting high 17's
BDW my car is now 1pp over, but nothing else exceeds the limit... what shall we do in such a case?

No he asked about the tire wear, I said to put it on the "Fast" setting. ;)

Which car are you running?

the 89 miata
1.18.427 is the best i could achieve avg of 18.5-19
Though have to admit i'm not good with setups... so it's mostly a stock setup apart from some weight balance and some slight lowering

Make sure you have all the correct modifications. You should be dead on with the HP/PP/Weight numbers on the specs sheet.

i was dead on when i did it first time... no it seems to have developed an extra pp lol
Edit: found the culprite... it was the change in ballast position... so i take it it;s not allowed to move?

Alright, just checked it. Anything 17% or above adds 1pp. :odd:

Guess you'll just have to stay under that number.

OK... times fixed w/standard setup of '97 mx-5... constant 17.90-18.10's
w/ a fastest lap time of 17.694 now with some slight adjustments suspension... but nothing major just slight lowering and toe angle... adjusting settings and am able to lap constant .6's

Just ran a bit of practice (in the '95) and mid 18s seem to be the average almost regardless of setup - can do a 17.8-9 every now and again but can't see much more pace available than that. Will have to try older and newer models later on to see what I prefer.. :)

I think I'm missing something..I can't break :20 in the '91 J Limited .. guess I'll keep tinkering

Edit: Watched a few videos on the line for international.. can't wait to put some laps in tonight!
