The usual hosts were not racing this weekend. Shame we have all these problems. So annoying after all that time the game freezes on formation lap! Things will be better next week. People should join earlier so we can get these problems out the way. And we will use a 3 star room next week! PD need to stop adding pointless cars to this game and actually fix some of the problems. Pretty ridiculous! Never played a game that freezes a PS3 so much!

My best q in Pure followed by my worst opening lap in Pure. Maybe we'll have an update to fix some of this stuff by next week.

I agree, the game seems to be worse since the update. So many people with this freezing issue now! So frustrating, this game would be great if it worked properly. Maybe it is just too much for a PS3 to handle...

Just got put off track çap 1 by Apex in an huge lag spike. In my replay he was going everywhere...
EDIT: Also can't be bothered to try face all this troubles again next week in a track I think is not meant for racing, so I won't race next wekeend

Ya I was caught with the lag spike also by apex. The game was extra messy today, all morning I had trouble even connecting to the main server.
But I did watch him and hotly go at it at the end and it looked like they were stable

Really strange that some had issues with lag/connectivity and others have none at all - e.g. I had no problem with Apex at all - but others seeing major lag spikes from him. I'm not sure a Euro/America split would actually fix things sadly 
- wish it were possible to know what the issue actually is.
For me.. mega happy haha. I didn't have time to practice all week, only got home 10mins before Quali deadline, so had no practice prior to quali - how I stuck it on P3 and only 0.6 off Pole, with my 2nd ever flying lap, I really don't know! Thanks to the GT Academy demo for teaching me the circuit properly I guess haha.
Thankfully that magic pace came into the race too, although I think in fairness Holty was probably a couple of tenths quicker if he were in clear air. But had a fantastic battle with Holty + Apex for basically the entire race, swapping places cleanly every so often.
Every time I got into the lead I was working my butt off to keep Holty behind - if anyone wants to know how to defend at Silverstone, just watch my replay..
- was probably the biggest amount of pressure for a sustained length of time ever for me, but apparently I'm getting quite good at this 'not cracking under pressure' business now! Win today was really not what I was expecting when I logged on for Quali!!

), I was having major trouble with the last part of Becketts, but I made sure to lift when I ran wide there on the last lap to deter any advantage gained. Lifted across the start/finish line just to be doubly sure as well. Unlucky Holty though, looks like you were mugged on the line

Yea, i think i had some lag spikes at the begining, but didn't see anyone laging on my POV, it seem it was only me. I saw cam going off in front of me on the the S, but i never touched him in my replay :/

Was a great race Andy and Apex and gotta say great defending...
Had a great too and fro with Andy all race, just kept on meeting at the end of Becketts, as he said, and couldn't get the slipstream needed. Me and Andy fought for the first half of the race and Apex quickly caught, all three of us were battling intensely for the rest of it, going three wide into the occasional corner (EPIC).
Last lap was a fun one and I could have, COULD HAVE, got first due to Andy's error, but I broke too late and allowed Apex and Andy past! One error - two places (The way it should be...
)
I feel I should have done better once I got ahead but it is always much easier chasing.. I'm still searching for that win!

I was under the impression that races are held 7am on Saturdays (Australian EDT) as in the OP it is written: "Green flag/race start time
Sundays - 20.00 UTC | 12.00 PM Pacific Standard Time | Saturday 7.00 AM Australian Eastern Daylight Time"
... but then I realised Sun 12.00pm (PST) makes it Mon 7am (Australian EDT).
Is there two races? or have I misunderstood.
(I may be unable to join on Monday mornings as I am leaving for work shortly after 7am.
If there is only the 7am Monday race then I have to bow out from this particular series - hoping to join you in the future when the timing suits me better.)
