IMPORTANT START INFORMATION
After testing we're going with starting directly after "The Screw". There are two drains, one on either side of the track. The start line will run between them. Pole should be on the left. We've tested it and they're very easy to spot from the pole side. The right side you've got to know where to look, but it's not easy to miss if you're paying attention.
This really only affects the front row anyway as everyone behind will be going on the car in front. After testing, it's really the clearest visual reference, and the safest place to go green.

We always do a full lap first. That's not far enough up the track to just go for it.
with these numbers it also looks like a mixed class race. So GT300 gets a 1 lap lead?

I mind as well race to bolster numbers... 5 laps of practice.. got a clean GT500 Q-time of 1:59.525

being half way through the season, i'm looking at fixing up the team situation; and It seems I should trim the dead weight off of the scoreboard. So anyone that hasn't run a single race will get trimmed.

Well that was fun... Game crashed again. Froze my PS3 up. Same happened last week. This is pretty ridiculous. So annoying after testing and having pole position! Nice racing in the 1 lap that I did though haha! No chance of getting the championship now.. Losing motivation when this keeps happening. I was looking forward to this race too..

yeah, this game is so craptastic... I considered restarting but we'd already burned a half hour with connection b.s. :/
And then basse gets bugged out 30s from the finish line... anyone have a problem with me giving him his 3rd place?
(I can understand why so many have given up on GT6, this is pretty embarrassing for PD)

Sad to see such a small grid really, but oh well, hope PD can sort themselves out sooner rather than later..
Was really very strange for me, I thought I could see everyone, but then when Jash disconnected, two more GT500s popped up in front of me!! Really crazy. Why does one person affect whether I can see other people?! And Cam_from_nj wasn't on my leaderboard at all, but I could see him the whole time.
Anyway.. bugs aside, had a really hard race with PASM, I was pushing so hard in the beginning to try and get away, but how he caught me I really don't know, fantastic pace 👍 - thought I could hold him behind, but he made a magnificent pass around the outside at the end of the long straight section, so forcing his way to having the inside line for the triple chicane; I saw him trying it a couple of laps previously but I never thought it was possible to pull off. Big balls. Haha

ok, while watching the Olympics I fixed the ENTIRE scoreboard.
There was a lot of missing bonus points, times from round 1, and I added the times to get everything current.
*whew*
In the process I pruned ALL drivers who have never raced or haven't posted in the thread for the last month.
If you were pruned for inactivity and would like to race, just register again.
Train is officially back on the tracks. Let's have a strong finish.

Start was ok, was up there with ghost and Lozza. Lozza disconnected and that wasthe end to that fight. Got close to ghost, he let me past? And retook the lead soon after that.
Middle part I was far from focused, ghost drove away in the distance and I was just trying to not spin, not far away a few times.
In the end I was just coasting home until the game decided to give me a little shunt
But it's all fun and game right? Lol

Hooooo! Ok, nevermind then :/It's not a problem with my internet, I'm not having disconnections. It's just the game, it freezes and forces me to reset my PS3. It's not just me having this problem either. Stupid game. Thanks anyway though!

We don't use weather because we want to avoid pit stops. The degredation and grip is still bugged on the new set. Otherwise we would be doing longer races and possibly faster wear settings.

Yeah, it was a tough race. I didn't practice that much before the race and I didn't know what to expect in the race. Luckily I have driven the track a couple of times and I could adapt to it in the BRZ very quickly. Because I forgot qualifying I had to start at the back. With luck, I got past Cam_from_nj and SLV_VR6 in the first S curve after the start. Then I was following WiiFreak and Devilboy from a distance, when Devilboy went off the track. I closed in on WiiFreak. He defended his position well. Unfortunately he slightly lost control coming out of the long righthander into the righthand hairpin. I tried to go round him on the inside, but we made contact. WiiFreak pulled the car straight and went into the hairpin first, but he let me by on the exit. True gentleman 👍 I knew I had to pull out all the stops to get away from WiiFreak, so I put the hammer down. Slowly, Andil was getting into sight. Then ^ that happened
