Thanks guys, it was fun today. My goal is to go below 10.
Might be a pipe dream though lol.

I thought we had reverse grid Results :lol::lol::lol::lol:

Switching directly from RH to SH and Sierra track - became drift challenge.

But was great fun. Love Z8 :D

Professional excuse time!

I've been having trouble recently with my brake pedal sticking. I've been opening up the pedals and cleaning them out, and spaying contact cleaner into the pots. This usually sorts the problem for a couple of months, but recently it's only been lasting for a few days before I notice brake sticking again. It starts very intermitant, so I can put up with it, but gets progresevly worse. It's very distracting having to drive constantly looking at the dash to see if the brake is still on!

On Saturday I had cleaned the brake pot in the regular way, and didn't have any problems with the brake sticking during either race.

However, when I watched the replay from Sierra, I noticed something. My brake wasn't sticking, but my throttle wasn't staying at 100% while my foot was! On nearly every flat out section you can see my throttle waving about slightly. Only down to about 96% or so, and not all the time.

Today I have stripped down my pedals fully, opened up the pots to their bare components and got every spec of dust out of both brake and throttle pots. They now seem to be working faultlessly.

So I don't accept that cgg beat me fair and square. The win at Suzuka was fair as I was stupid enough not to check if a pit was required, but I probably had throttle issues in that race too, but I didn't save the replay so can't check. So that win doesn't count either!

REMATCH TIME;)

Are there regular races tonight ?
I think there are no races tonight
As the Mallet Trophy is tomorrow there was no regular Z8's planned for today.
Too much of the good stuff can spoil you, right guys? :)

This is a Z8 Club and I certainly don't want to alienate anyone coming here solely for Z8's,
but a few of us are going to race gokarts this evening, myself and @SmileyWRX and maybe @IfAndOr
and we'll see who else we get. gamer and David why don't you come along?
A one-make shifter kart room will be opened up in about 45 minutes time.

According to the GT6 Guide "a community club forum can contain up to ten topics".
I just created two additional ones and the total is now up to eight;

1. The BMW Z8 Memorial Forum
The place for speaking your mind
on all things Z8.

2. The Picard/Kirk Memorial Forum
Discussions on who was the better Captain.
Jean-Luc Picard? Or James T. Kirk?

@S_Bridge's
3. The M_Mallet_Jr Memorial Forum
The place to talk about British Punk Rock, fights
during the Mallet Trophy, when you think Mallet
will return and if Button will beat Alonso in 2015.

@Wayne Gratiot's
4. Reality Bytes Memorial Forum
What is happening in our members lives right
now that you'd like to share. New car?
Where do you live? What have you seen or done recently?

@IfAndOr's
5. Time Immemorial Memorial Forum
Discussions on any topics from the past. Older cars & races.
Old games (GT5) etcetera..

6. Monty Python Memorial Forum
The place for respectful and reverent discussion
of the Python's and their comedy.

7. The Random Memorial Forum
Write whatever's on your mind.
Do you think global warming is a non-issue?
Do you think I'm an *******? Is Max Chilton talented?

@thehobnob97's
8. The thehobnob97 Memorial Forum
The place for anything and everything to do with
Rob's awesome internet connection and his incredible,
inspiring & imposing driving skills.

9. ?

10. ?

Need two more. Suggestions?

If you create a thread to brag when you beat Dusty and you call it the Dusty Memorial Forum, it'll be aptly named as it won't be used too often. :lol:
