It's all good Severn. We were glad you were there with us. :)

I for one will be sticking with my DS3 for a while because I seem to be doing really good with it.

Yeah, we had an awesome battle going on there... What mostly upset me about my off (ON CORNER 2!?) was that I was then no longer a part of it... it was like 10 laps steady like that, all clean, all 4-5 of us just weaving in and out of each other. Most fun I'd had to date. :D

Challenge. Accepted.
I had a lot of fun driving with the D1 guys... right up until I was driving alone (one more night of crying about that one, I think)

You dont wanna do that to yourself. Ask @Ph1sher about what happened on Laguna with a headstart anf a 3 hp advantage :)

Haha. Whateva, whateva... just make sure you bring an eraser for that whiteboard so you can put "Catch up to Severn" on it.:lol:

Dat battle. That's the first time I've been in a battle like that. WITHOUT COUNTING NASCAR. :P

Yea I really wish I had a video output/recorder because I wanted to record that battle from POV of whoever was at the back at any given moment. It was awesome. I must've watched the replay 5 times yesterday.
Maybe I'll just mount up a camera old school style

You mean back, you mean me. I had a hard time getting up to speed in the first couple of laps.

Get the GoPro cameras. They'll work out just fine. :P

That was a great battle. Hector got by and started to pull away, but that left (I think) myself, SilverFire, Severn, Racing, and Mic battling hard and close for quite a while. Then I had another good battle with Silver for about 10 laps after our pit stops before my tires started to give out on me. It wasn't long before Hector, who had pitted much later and had fresher tires, caught back up and flew by me. Then he and Silver both left me in the dust. My tires were absolutely toast. Nice job to knukken on the win! 👍 And better luck next time for the Phish man. GT6 still has its flaws. Fix 'em, PD!

Also, thanks to Leo for the pictures, Hector for the video, and Phish for hosting.

Turtle Racing League - Track Boundary Rules At Spa

Just because the pictures are a little unclear for this specific question, what about two wheels on the green and two wheels on the curbstones?

Yes it would be clean, as long as least 2 Tires are ON TRACK at all times, and the curb is on track.

Thanks for asking!

It's all relative until Wins blows by me, by then I'm just a fig newton of his imagination (sorry for the American specific comedic content) Basically he beats one severely about the head n neck as he drives by leaving you dumbfounded. LOL that should put in gaelic terms ;)

Awesome race footage Hector so clear looks HD and my lacky ahem, I mean lappy is not.
All videos are recorded in hd 1080i, and your welcome I'm try to do my best

Back to Off-topic: Oh hey, my phone decided it wouldn't mind posting that picture I was talking about earlier. Really clever racing game, a whole bunch of different tracks you can order. I enjoy playing it with my kids because it's all about risk management, making sure you're in the right gear for certain corners and not just trying to fly around the track. It only took 2 times of my son wrecking his car and throwing a fit before he figured out that he needed to slow down... Now he gives me a run for my money every race, haha.

and I want to drive a car at relativistic speeds... but yours is probably easier.

 I thanked my DS3.

Yes, great battle from all of us and between you and me, considering the 2nd to last corner. :grumpy: You'd lead for a couple of laps, then I would, and it went back and forth. Meanwhile, Hector was catching up and before I know it, I look back and was like "Okay, where did Dolph go"?

My left front tire was down to 5 on lap 38. :scared: Plus, I only had about 20 liters of fuel left (10%). :P

I had a lot of fun just driving with the D1 guys. So the invitation was well spent.:gtpflag:

I waited for you...

Gah! And now you're saying my only overtake after that was because you let me!?

 I thanked my DS3.

I was referring to using FOV :P but you're quick, I'll give you that, haha. Although, I think if I could just break away from a pack without having a gravel snack I would give you a run for your money :sly:

Now to get promoted to D1 to test that theory

Oh, I knew you were talking about the FOV. ;) It is better, but I prefer to keep things simple.

As for the DS3, shall I refer back to Apricot Hill? You're a wheel user, and considering you've been here a lot longer than I have, you could probably beat me anyday. :D I'm already pushing myself by not using TC, which seems to be a win in itself.

heh, I was here a week before you

I'm actually in the same boat about TC, before TRL and WRS I never really ran without it... now I never use it at all as it forces me to improve my throttle finesse. And, as for AH, one of the funniest things I saw was how we both pretty much spun in the same spot between corner 1 and 2... only I ended up in the gravel, and you ended up darting back across to the grass on the inside. I was just like "OH, C'MON!" hahaha

I remember that. Coincidence, I think not. At least you kept it safe. :P I about took out a couple people in the process.

Actually, now that you mention it... I hadn't thought about this before since I've had the DFGT since GT5... but I was always better at recovering from spins and offs when I used the DS3... Which is probably also why I can *only* do Drift challenges using the DS3 as well... I'm just much better at handling going sideways when the difference between full tilt one way or the other is just a flick of the thumb...

Now, I've got really think about this trade-off... because I'm faster laptime-wise with a wheel... but I'm better when things get loose using the DS3...

Simultaneous 💡 and :scared:
