F1 Outdoors, but yea... same company just down in East Bridgewater. Next Wednesday I'll be at F1 Boston.

I live really close to F1 Boston, I've been dying to go there and really have no idea why I haven't gone yet. Let me know what kind of leagues they have there, I'd kill to race in one. I always assumed you had to buy your own kart to race in one.

I'm pretty sure they do different leagues of varying types... I believe the indoor leagues, at some of the outdoor ones use provided equipment but the more advanced leagues like Enduro you need a kart. However, I think I read that they have a deal with CRG for kart rentals for official F1 Boston license holders or something... I'll definitely let you know what I find.

The thing I'm most interested in is the Junior Schools/League for my son, because like you, I had assumed I'd have to come up with a kart and all that... but for those initial leagues they're provided.

Yes... definitely some sloppy racing, I lost count how many times for camera man clipped the walls. I'm really intrigued to see how things go next week since it's going to be all Technology and Sales guys :lol:

I checked with my rep to make sure my coworker and I were signed up and he said "Oh yes, the only thing you have to worry about is not losing your dinner on Track 1!"

I politely informed him that that was the least of my concerns :P

All I know is that I saw that 15 second lap record on the page at the end of that video... and I have every intention of trying to come to within a second of that, or being airlift to Mass General trying. :lol:
 
We have a similar place here in Texas called Dallas Karting Complex. 1 mile outdoor course, very technical with a long straight. 65 mph rental karts and they give you a pretty cool analysis after your run. I've had my name on top of the monthly leaderboards a couple of times.:P

I believe I've heard of that one... it's supposed to be "legendary" as someone once described it to me.
 
PD likes my connection haven't had any problems in D3 rooms at least with connectivity.

It's pretty incredible. I'm fast enough to get a kart of my own and compete just don't have the necessary funds.
 
That'd be interesting. I can't make it anywhere this year (as far as I know), but I'd probably be flying.

I want to apologize for not being around as much. Saturday nights have been busier than I'd like and it doesn't look much better in the future. @Ph1sher if you want to list me as part-time or inactive, that might be best. Thanks for all the help along the way.

Sorry guys... I'm gone for 1 week and everyone's like "Oh, Severn's not going to be there? Meh, it ain't worth going." :sly::P
 
seems like only a few weeks ago we were thinking of splitting up D2 to two groups!

do we think the lack of updates and fixes is turning off the community in the short term?
