I was running 3rd less than 5 laps into first race when my game froze up. The gear indicator was flashing like crazy (it was at the end of the long straight), but other than that, the entire rest of the screen was frozen. It didn't kick me out, so I don't know if I lagged out or if it was just a coincidence. And it wasn't a PS3 issue, because I was able to quit the game using the middle PS button on my DS3. In any case, both races were exciting, despite the guys who lagged out in the first race. Luckily no one got disconnected the second race that I know of, though I never was able to see Johnsom...

I had a fantastic battle again this week with gr8racrs. Your car was pretty jumpy for a couple of laps at the beginning of that second race, but it seemed to settle down. Our race was back and forth. I think several mistakes were made on both sides. :lol:

i had the same exact freeze earlier in the week going into the esses. screen froze with gear number flashing.
 
@GT_Racer22 hey, are you going to take picture for D1 Race 2? or no, i can take care of that if so, or @BionicDerp are you taking pictures of D1 Race 2? I got D1 Race 1 Pictures Covered! Race Results Might just be up tonight.. @Spliffy is getting his Turtle Duty done pretty fast! 👍

To the DS3 discussion, yes, I do use a controller and as Busted said, I am quite fast with it. My scheme doesn't use the shoulder buttons for the brake/throttle, but rather I use the right analog stick for that.

I always wondered why PD had it that way at default. I will have to try that approach and see if it does make a difference. It will take time getting used to. 1 week to be precise. Do you use the shoulder button for the gear change?

By the way, i was only able to make race 1 again. I hope the recording isn't corrupt this time.

Yup, I do use the shoulder buttons for the gear changes.
 
Looking ahead to next week with the Mini Marcos GT '70. The paint shop doesn't let us paint the stock rims. Is it permissible to choose "Inch Up: 2" rims to paint them our color? And if so, are we restricted to which rim set we can choose?

you may do that, we tested it and it does NOT affect the PP or HP, or any other thing, Scarecrow got in through tuning Prohibited with the 2 inch wheel so you should be alright 👍

Finished Results in my google Doc, Results will be up shortly once i get the pictures taken on my computer and once Derp Puts pictures of D1 Race 2 on the thread.

If anyone in D2 wants to post some pictures of the races, feel free to do that

Same thing happened to me in D2 room about 45mins prior to races. I used the PS button also but I turned off the system as I have also been experiencing the three beep glitch where the console powers down incorrectly when you try to exit the game via the PS button. Deemin & Ph1sh were there but I didn't get the chance to verify what they saw.

This has happened to me also ALOT! Including last night before race 1. Then about lap 13 I got some feedback noise that lasted a couple laps. Still some bugs under the hood I believe!
 
last night during the second race, for about 1 minute, i got a buzzing sound out of the speakers. i thought it was someone's mic, but i dunno if it was a glitch or not. it was distracting as hell being in the lead trying not to make any mistakes.

Practicing, I got 2 36 086, and my best lap from tonight was 2 34 3(?). Competition brings out the best in me. lol

11th (+33 sec) to 3rd (+18 sec) is my highlight. I just don't understand what I was doing. :lol:

Early in race two, I may have been shouting "Y U DO DIS" at gr8... :P

Sorry about that Derp. I was using a stupid DS3 and hit the kerbs too hard and lost grip taking us both out :( I NEED TO USE A WHEEL EVERY WEEK :lol:

this actually happened to me when I was in div 2 room... I was able to quit the game then when I came back the div 2 room was full.

@Dolph Drago, i didn't see the whole time in race 2. then the results show #6 spot is blank.

Turtle Racing League - Race Night Recap​

Division 1: We had another great turnout in Division 1 with 13 showing up! In Race 1, the basic story on that was Fish vs. Otaku and the PD disconnection Cheese! First to the racing, As the Fish and RacingOtaku86 Battled, it was quite mentally challenging! Though RacingOtaku86 was able to pull away from the fish for Race 1 Victory! Lightning kind of was alone for the most part of the race after battling with DolphDrago and until he got hit with that disconnection madness! Man i must say go eat a HAM SANDWICH! DolphDrago did come out very strong and fast in Race 2 after spinning out. Oh yeah Race 1, as i was saying GTMX-HECTO1 and ThethirdRoy had another awesome battle for 4th Place! GTMX-HECTO1 was able to grab 4th in Race 1, followed by ThethirdRoy in 5th. There was some awesome battles all over Bathurst in Race 1! Just the PD Disconnection Cheese may have wrecked a couple of the turtle's first race. But the turtles said, No way Jose you making me quit!! Yeah that's right, they came for race 2, and man oh man race 2 was even better! Lightning literately bolted his way through the pack getting himself a MASSIVE Lead over MonkeyBoy, But RacingOtaku86 and GTP_Ph7shr came flying in! The Fish got stuck in traffic in Race 2, as Racing gained a lot of seconds on Lightning, but just not enough!

Division 2: As we have SpeedDeemin making his Turtle Steward Host Debut Last Night! He sure did a great job! Speed as well finished both races very well! But watch out for Leo D1!! That's Right! Leo Completely CRUSHED D2, and is on his way to the Division 1 Airplane headed to Nurburgring GP/F! Leo Grabbed the pole, and won both races! Latenight-Rider as well gave Leo a push, but not enough. Though Latenight-Rider finished 2nd in both races! BustedFoSho, man oh man, he has stepped up his game, and is starting to get up the pack! He just simply keeps getting faster and faster! Also, Oh boy! In Division 2 Last night, we had 1 of our former Dream Team Turtle Steward Members Return! That's Right! Turtles and Ladies! It's GTP_tzracer! Boom! His first start back, he did an awesome job running around, though he made a few mistakes, he still did a great job! Oh i almost forgot, Congratulations Division 2! You Filled up the ENTIRE room, plus some D2 guys had to join us! Now i call that TURTLE CRAZY! You have convinced the Fish man for 3 Divisions now! You all should be proud of yourself for attending last saturday, i hope every second with us was a blast, and if not, well then looks like we gotta make this even more awesome for you! 👍 Congrats All!
