That's freaking hilarious... I'm sorry man... I did it right when I got home. Extremely hot today... Had to work in it all day... I blaming it on that. Revising it right now...

Tied for 6th... I usually start scoring with the first race of the night, which you missed. That's what threw me off.

I would be happy to help in deciding on a track, but unfornatley I will miss next week's kart racing due to vacation

@TEX36 I'm going to be away at the track all day Saturday. If the three road courses haven't been chosen by early afternoon Sat., could you please wrap that up for me? Thanks.

Since @Wardenclyffe and @JayC-2000 aren't going to be making the picks - who takes their place?

You are! :)

Ive been thinking about this. Starting after Tuesday well choose tracks slightly different. Nothing complicated, but well avoid the current situation and smooth out the process a bit.

ATTENTION DRIVERS!

What: Going forward, track selections for this series will be accepted on a First Come First Serve basis via posts within this thread.

Why: It has become apparent that not every competitor desires to be included in the selection process. Although we completely respect these drivers' decisions to pass on their opportunity, this does create a wrinkle in the format that I feel we need to iron out in order to provide a smooth running series.

How: After the the current weeks' points are tallied and results are posted, track selections may begin. This will most likely occur on Wednesdays or Thursdays. At that time ANYBODY may post a selection. A selection post shall include [1]a category and [2]a track that coincides with said category. The first posted request for each of the three required categories (with exception) shall be the lineup for the upcoming race days' event, with Motegi Superspeedway being the finale every week. Also, when the DAP Kart is run, we would like at least one race to be in wet conditions. All selections should be in by 12 noon EST Saturday please.

Exception: A track selection shall be reserved for the current weeks' points winner. However, the category for the selection will still fall under FCFS priority. If points leader waives his/her selection, the selection will default to FCFS.

Q: "OK, I get the track selection, but why the category breakdown?"

A: It is my opinion (and others from what I read) that we have some of the best road racing on the short to medium sized tracks. Of course we love the draft and there will be plenty of that going on too. Ultimately, I want everybody to have fun and I believe we all have the most fun when the racing is competitive, whether it's for the win or 10th place.

I do believe this will smooth out the selection process by opening up the candidacy and I hope that everybody will be open-minded to give this a try. Happy racing everybody!
