And yet again right after Qual was finished. Can't find RacingChamps room

My screen froze tex so i went into dabneyd's room. Sorry if i ended up causing anyone to disconnect from the room, don't know why the screen froze on me right after qualifying was finished.

You have to reset the ps3 to see the room again I say we make a new room. Anyone? And I just froze again.

Well PSN/GT6 remains strike again

Quite a night if connection woes, mixed in with some good racing.

Thanks for the patience to get through it 👍

Hopefully see you all in the Shifter Karts next week.

And PD has a patch before then :boggled:

Had alot of fun. Hosted for first time for a full race then the screen froze after qualifying for 2nd race , then went into dabneyd's room and ended 3rd at suzuka, can't wait for next week's race.

Bump draft, yeah baby 👍

No problem Lessen, it happens. Thanks again everybody for some close, intense racing action. Had a blast...c'yall next week

It was good racing when PSN was actually working. @dragonwhiskey, my replay froze up on me but I'm pretty sure it was me who bumped you off at suzuka - sorry about that :guilty: - I need to turn down my force feedback on the karts. The wheel will get into this pattern of little tiny oscillations that eventually result in me swerving around when I'm trying to go straight. I didn't realize you had gone off track until the pack was already half way around the course. Next time I'll come back and give you a draft assist. ;)

Had a great time racing with this group last night! Thanks for the great competition and for the hosts that put up with all of the network issues... Hope to make it again soon.

My replay worked. I am so gonna file that.... ;)

Actually, in all seriousness, after watching the replay, I think it was as much me trying to slot in underneath as you trying to hit the apex. It looks much less on the replay than it felt in the race.

I had the same problem with my DFGT and ran it with FFB at 4 and power steering assist turned off. Seemed to help some with that crazy oscillation thing.

Actually guys, it's the Controller sensitivity you want to turn down not the Feedback, I'm using the G-27 with the Controller sensitivity set to 3 for carts and 6 for cars!

The pack racing was a flipping blast! I hope I wasn't roughing up guys too badly. Im not the steadiest and not nearly competitive any other time. Good thing I left and did the engine rebuild cuz I could barely keep up at Madrid.

Huh... really? I didn't think the controller sensitivity would mean anything with the wheel- after all, on the controller it would just determine at what speed the wheels would move toward a new position that you moved the stick to. I assumed that if it did anything at all, it would be the same thing-delaying the time between turning the wheel and having the wheels "get there". So I just left it at 10. I guess coupled with force feedback at 10 I had a pretty tough time. I'll have to play with these tonight.

From everything I've read, the controller sensitivity setting only applies to the DS3. If you want more sensitivity out of your G27 check this thread out.

I run my G27 with the FFB at 4, power steering off and even though I said it doesn't matter, controller sensitivity has always been at 7. Your results may vary.

I know of at least one Silverstone finalist that made it there with a DFGT.

Hey gang, since last week was such a mess with rooms imploding, I just decide to pick four tracks. Plus I got really behind this week and this is the first chance I've had to look at the Kart thread, sorry.

New lineup has been posted, 125 Shifter Karts next week 👍 Will hopefully have some gearing work done tomorrow!

January 28th, 2014: 125 Shifter Kart - Shifter Kart Gearing
Race 1 - Autumn Ring - ?? laps
Race 2 - Daytona Road Course - ?? laps
Race 3 - Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca - ?? laps
Race 4 - Indianapolis Motor Speedway - ?? laps

I am hoping to make it again this week, it was good fun running with you guys, and the track selection this week is primo 👍

Had to make a change to the track selection, I forgot Autumn Ring was not available :grumpy: And Daytona ROad Course was undriveable in a Kart. The start finish area had three different bumps mid-track that would be less thsan fun.

January 28th, 2014: 125 Shifter Kart - Shifter Kart Gearing
Race 1 - Fuji GT - 8 laps
Race 2 - Twin Ring Motegi East - 10 laps
Race 3 - Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca - 10 laps
Race 4 - Indianapolis Motor Speedway - 12 laps

My shifter Kart now has 408 miles on it. After gear testing this afternoon, I took it over to the spa for a massage and a good soak in the sauna and it came back with 590PP/51HP. Prior to taking it over there I'd noticed the PP was at 589. All indicators were still green when I had the work done.

What is everyone else's at?

I put the stats for each Kart in the OP for after purchase and first motor rebuild. Your numbers jive 👍

Karts and Red Bull jr.

Stats are the same on mine. Anybody been practicing any? I've been trying to run consistently at Mazda.

Pedal assembly was shifting into Neutral last night - so I may not be racing tomorrow night.
Not sure what it will take to "fix it" ........ like I'll know what's wrong when I look inside. Yeah, right.:dunce:

Took the pedal unit apart ..... Found a pinched wire. Soooooo in unless "IT" is messing with me I'll be on track Tues night.
