Hey all,

I just wanted to take a moment to emphasize the importance that we want this league to be first and foremost about having fun. I think we have thus far achieved this to a high degree. We need to make sure this remains our number 1 goal. While we love racing and winning we will only have fun if we are respectful on track.

We do not want to have to go down the route of having official stewards and penalties. Mistakes will be made the importance is what happens next.

If something happens and you are involved in an incident that effects others your actions after the fact are important. If you may have caused the incident it is imperative that you wait for the other person to recover even if that cost you positions.

If you were the innocent bystander you should stay calm. Recover from the incident and assuming the person that caused the incident has waited for you that should act as his apology.

If the cause of the incident is unclear to you then err on the side of caution and assume your actions caused the incident and take appropriate action of waiting for anyone affected.

If we adhere to those courses of action any incident should be resolved on track and quickly allowing everyone to get back to the fun.

While I do expect everyone to race under the SNAIL OLR I also want to stress that if your actions cause an incident you are at fault.

If you feel that there has been an incident that warrants a review then please send me a PM.

But lets hope that we do not have to go there:)

Ken tries to run me off the road every race...

Last night he was so devious as to dive under me and spin in front of me to make it APPEAR as if I were at fault. That Ken...soooo sneaky!

^I can attest to seeing this. As far as I could tell, he did it because you both had yellow cars and he didn't think anyone would notice all the rubbing.

Joe you had a different strategy last night. Make me laugh so that i couldn't drive and stay on the track.
Your plan worked great last night. It was the best 5th (or 6th) place finish I've every had.

Zero chance of any of my cars getting "too much" mileage ;)

Hi I would like to join you in racing on Tuesdays. I have a mic and steering wheel. PSN danfurey
Dan,

We would be happy to have you race with us. Make sure you have a good read over the first two posts and let us know if you have any questions.

I believe we are going with a friends only room, Joe can you confirm?

Is it yet possible to sign up for today's event?

PSN ID: MrProject_74

There you go:

Group 1
FF Renault Sports Megane RS Trophy 11 (447)
FR Nissan Gran Turismo 4 Ltd (Z33) 05 (461)

Group 2
4WD Audi TT Coupe 1.8T Turbo 00 (413)
MR Lotus Elise 11 (395)

^ You are more than welcome, however I think you have the Group 1 PP totals at the wrong value. The first two races with qualifying at Tokyo R246 is 1040pp (520pp average with both cars between 494pp and 546pp).

Ah! Ok!
Got it. Gonna change it asap.

There's no rush. If you have any questions just post in the thread and we can help. The majority of us check the thread regularly and can help with anything from which cars work well to any useful strategies. We are a very laid back group that just enjoys close racing. Make sure you send a friend request to Ice_Warden on PSN as we use "friends only" rooms.

It is kind of an awkward concept. The only basic thing you need to remember is that the PP of the cars you choose are taken from our master PP list. These PP numbers are the maximum PP of each car after purchase and oil change.

If you want to choose a car that is rated at 500PP on our list and you want to detune it to 490PP then you still get charged for the 500PP. You also can not tune it up as we run a tuning prohibited room. So when choosing your cars you want to get pretty close to the PP total because you don't want to run at too much of a disadvantage. If your personal car does not have the same PP listed on our sheet, make sure you give it an oil change and remove all mods. If your car still has a discrepancy, our list may be inaccurate since the GT5 to GT6 switch ;)

So choose only one of each FF, FR, 4WD and MR/RR.

Here is my sample lineup for tonight...

For the 810PP cars (max of 425pp/min of 385pp):
FF-CRX 390pp
4wd-205 Turbo 415pp

For the 1040PP cars (max of 546pp/min of 494pp):
FR-380RS 510pp
MR-GTO '84 528pp

You can choose whatever combination of drivetrain you like. But make sure they fall within the Min/Max of our range (listed on the main page).

I'm terrible at explaining things but once you get the hang of it it's quite easy and fun.

Joe,
I love that '84 Ferrari GTO, I just could not keep it on the track after 5 or 6 laps with worn tires.

I am finding the majority of the MR cars to be very slippery in GT6 so choosing one I can keep control of for 20 minutes has been my goal. It is a fun challenge but I spent a bunch of money on some uncompetitive cars. Like that Spyker... :yuck:
