I haven't actually tested anything yet ;) I just wanted to go with an all street car lineup for a change.

I'm sure when I get online tonight for my pre race practice I'll realize the err of my ways as usual ;)

Anyone who sends me a friend request for tonight...I will be on around 8:30-9pm est to accept so don't panic if I haven't accepted them until tonight ;)

Ok this is what I got
1040pp
4wd- Nissan gtr 07 @ 537pp
Fr- BMW m3 csl @ 497 total pp 1034

810 pp
Ff - spoon integra type r (dc2)"97@ 422pp
Mr- Toyota mr-s v edition 6mt"02 @385 pp total pp -807

^ That's really not bad.

The M3 CSL is a beast at 497pp as is the MR-S at 385pp. Just remember that the 1040 first split is sports soft and the 810 split is sports hard tires. Test the cars on those tires before you make any concrete decisions.

Ok thanks for the advice I'm testing now
Not liking the mr-s at all.....

Picking the cars is the entire problem ;) Yet it is also the most rewarding once you figure out which cars suit you the best and compete well vs other cars at similar PP ranges.

All the cars you picked (except the GTR) are cars that are regularly on my short list.

MR-S is quick but not easy. I found that adjusting brake balance is essential in GT6 for MR cars (something I never touched in GT5). Try a balance of 4 front 2 rear or even 3 front 1 rear.

Brake balance is not considered tuning in GT6 tuning prohibited rooms.

best bit of advice i've gotten all day

Dan,

We would be happy to have you race with us. Make sure you have a good read over the first two posts and let us know if you have any questions.

I believe we are going with a friends only room, Joe can you confirm?
Hi thanks for the reply and letting me join. I have read the rules and just need to sort out my cars. Quick question, do I sign up on the spreadsheet? I ask because I don't see my PSN from the drop down in the cells.

You do not need to use the sign up sheet but i will update it with you name as the sheet is useful in making sure you get the PP right

-edit- the driver list should now have all the new recruits. So you can all use the signup sheet.

Have fun tonight guys and rememeber it can take a few weeks to get the hang of car selection. (or longer if you are french like Joe)

Friends only room up. I have about 30-45 mins free.
Closed now so I can cook dinner.

@tezgm99 or @jobyone

Can you smash these pics together for my line-up because I can't do photoshop magic?

If I can get everything done that I need to get done, I will be bringing this line up.

Integra Type R '01 410PP
Roadster RS (NC) '07 398PP

R8 4.2 RSI R tronic '07 524PP
Garaiya GT300 Base Model '08 514PP

Damn, I`m checking on everybody`s set ups and I`m getting apprehensive... again! Unless you have like, 500 cars, or getting a good set is very complicated.

I just bought the Roadster and the Integra. If I show up tonight, I will not have driven them at all in GT6. The Audi and the Garaiya got purchased for career events and were pretty fun to drive so I'll break them out for this.

Everyone aware of the potential increased size rim bug? Could prevent entry in a tuning prohibited room so go stock rim size or have a backup car.

4WD CTR2 96 PP 545
FR TVR T350C PP 496

FF Clio RS 11 PP 410
MR Renault R5 Turbo 80 PP 395

Is the lobby friends only? or how will be announced?
