Are you sure about the Camaro? Mine is 585 and I have the listed as verified. (mine could have been de-tuned but not sure why I would have done that) I will double check that one win I get home.
Thanks Joby. I just checked my garage and it is 602pp with oil change.

Here's where I'm at right now. I'm still not sure about the Corvette though.

I was considering it, but the Calsonic Skyline is one of my favorite cars, I couldn't pass up the opportunity.

Hey @JoeW, are you planning on using all blue cars tonight? My cars are all blue except the S2000 and I was considering painting it blue just for the sake of consistency, but only if yours wasn't also blue.

Finnally got my lineup!

Every time I think I'm going to get to race in one of these events, my hopes are dashed. I've done everything possible to make my internet connection stable, and nothing works. I don't know what to be mad at. PD's servers? My ISP? My router? Who the hell knows.

All I know is I end up getting pissed off every single time. And I'm not one to lose my temper easily.

Post a speedtest and ping test here for us to look at.

Got these even while connected to the room:

I'll test them again later, and find out why the packet loss test didn't work (I have Java enabled).

Edit:

Did them again:

nothing there looks bad at all. Is that from the PS3? I run my PS3 wirelessly and rarely have issues. What exactly was happening?

That's from my laptop, from a wireless connection. My PS3 is wired with an ethernet cable. It's also set as DMZ through my router, which helped solve some issues in the past, but apparently not enough to prevent random disconnects all the time.

I think I have no choice but to give up until one of three things happen:

PD makes some major changes to their servers which fix many people's problems

I somehow get a better ISP, like Google Fiber or something.

I take the time to go through all the settings on my router and PS3 (again), do lots of testing in rooms with no stakes, and convince myself that I won't have any more problems (which will probably get my hopes up and lead to the same thing that happened tonight).

Right now, I end up wasting hours preparing for something I think I'll really enjoy, only to be completely unable to participate through no fault of my own.

Here's what happened, since you're wondering: I qualified sixth in the first race, then was disconnected just before the race began. I spectated that race. Then I entered the second race, got taken out by a spinning car on lap one, but managed to almost catch up to the pack on lap two, at which point all the cars slid off the track. Disconnected. I almost gave up there but I figured I spent a lot of credits on the Zonda, and Indy Speedway couldn't be that bad. First lap, I collide with nothing, due to some kind of lag making the game think the car in front of me had suddenly stopped. Race ruined. I gave up and shut it down, never even getting to race the Skyline I was so looking forward to.

I don't mean to take it out on anyone, as it's no one's fault, but I really needed a race tonight to cheer me up. This was supposed to be my return to racing online. Instead, I just ruined my day, probably my week, and it will take a long time before I'll seriously consider joining any of these events again. Unless I can identify the problem, but that's looking doubtful.

Official Announcement

We are adding another car to the adjusted PP list. The Tommykaira ZZII '00 will now have a +10 PP adjustment.

The spreadsheet for known PP of cars used in the S.N.A.I.L. DTC can be found here. There are a few unique cars that have adjusted PP due to there superiority at there Normal PP. These are the current cars that have adjusted PP's and the adjustment value.

Acura HSC Concept '04 (+10)
Honda HSC Concept '03 (+10)
Tommykaira ZZII '00 (+10)

We missed you Tez. You going to get a rig setup and join next week?
I think @tezgm99 said he gave his wheel to someone before he moved. :nervous:

@dylansan
Very sorry to hear about your connection woes, I've been there. I think your option to race in random online rooms with no stakes would be good between now nd next week to test out your connection. Try late afternoon races around 3 or 4pm EDT if you can to England and see how you do for a real test.

You seemed like a consistent, clean racer so don't give up yet.

So, at Indy last night, I was trying so hard to go without pitting. I ended up losing a tire on the last corner. Unfortunately when I was in the middle of spinning I got in @JLBowler 's way. Sorry about that.

Im off so im in tonight!
Sorry carbon. I needed room on friend list right after you and blood left so I deleted you. I didn't check this thread just before the race because I was busy trying to practice and get the room set up properly.

Just re-add me and we'll be good.

It is great to see that 13 people started in the first race last night, 14 took part and 9 finished! @Nicktune got the win and @kendawg got second. You know the drill so get the PP and track choice in soon;)

Also lets test something out this week. The winner on top of choosing the PP can now limit the car choices (assuming the PP allows a good choice). The options are

A. No Race cars
B. No Concepts
C. No Tuners or Racecars
D. Production Only

Lets give it a try and see what people think. The winner does not have to limit the choice but it is his option.

I was thinking about giving this option to the third place finisher but not sure if that would give them too much power.

@Racerdude890 you get to pick a track to replace this week. You can not replace the tracks in bold.
