It should be possible to protect cells so that no one can change them.
Yea I should probably do that.

Maybe I should also give people points for posting their lineups early. Say 1 pt for each day ahead of schedule. Post Monday get 1 pt. Post Friday get 4;) encourage people to post early. Still only 3 signed up so far.

Yes, I've noticed that tons of people tend to post on Tuesday, sometimes a few hours before the race. At least that's what happened last time.

I don't understand why people don't just sign up by filling in their name, then coming up with their lineups later. I quickly came up with a lineup when I signed up but I'm able to change it later if I have to. Giving points for lineups might encourage people to post terrible lineups at first, then change them on Tuesday once they've decided, which would be kind of annoying.

If you're going to give points for this, give it for people adding their names to the list, not for posting the cars themselves. Though you should encourage people to add their lineups and keep the sheet updated as they change their mind.

Having a basic idea of what cars people plan to drive would make choosing my own lineup much more interesting. Come on people! ;)

I can only speak for myself but I like to make sure I don't have to work Tuesday night before I go through the trouble of testing and putting a line up together.

Some of us can't test until right before the race. I only put a lineup together based on what's in my garage...then I test on Tues night before we start.

I was really just kidding all though it would be cool if people would put their name in the sign up sheet so we have an idea of numbers. I could always make the lineup default to the lineup that if someone ever runs it they get +25 points:)

Make it so that I never have to work.
hmmm. You say that to the guy that never gets to race with you cause he is stuck at work:(

Are there any other times/days that people might be interested in doing some events? Maybe just one time events.

@kendawg

I noticed you added the Lupo Cup Car to your lineup. You may have to change it, as I think this week is production cars only. (It might be a good idea to add that info to the signup sheet, as I didn't notice at first either)

1710pp
760-950

We can try "Production Only".

That @kendawg is such a cheater.

Ok, make it so none of us ever have to work. :dopey:

Throw out some ideas because I would be down this week for Thursday. Since I am missing tonight I should be able to steal the TV then. I would be game for some cat and mouse to practice attacking and defending positions.

Sorry I'm getting back so late, been so busy....

I am going to replace Cape Ring Periphery.

Also, I don't think I can make it this week. From here on out might be hard for me to make it any week because school is starting up and I need to focus more on that than staying up till Midnight to race. We'll see how things turn out.

Just a heads up for tonight, I'm on standby with my job this week so if u see me leave during a race it's because I got a callout.

I think I've found a small discrepancy in the PP list. The Skyline GT-R V-spec (R33) '97 is listed with 466 PP, but when I bought one and changed the oil, it has just 465. I have a feeling some of the other Skylines could be off by one but I haven't checked.

I have not verified the Nissans or Toyotas. So yea they may be off. If it is just 1 go with what the sheet says for now. I will be so glad once I have verified everything. My prediction is the moment I do that they will announce GT7 and I will have to start all over again:(

I am tentative for tonight due to weather. Looking outside, watching the sky get darker and darker by the minute with thunderstorms predicted from reports :nervous:

Hey @jobyone, shouldn't the tires for the second split be SM, not SS? 950*2 = 1900, and SS tires are for 1901 and above, right?
You are correct. I have adjusted the formula.

Note to all

The second two races should be run on Sports Medium Tires

Everything's fine until the race starts. Then I last one or two laps before dropping out. Why?

*sigh* oh well

Did better than last week's four DNFs...

I made poor car choices I think. The Avantime was slower than my MGF even with higher PP. I think the Pontiac Vibe would have been much faster with about the same PP, but I wanted a french car. ;)

The tires really go quickly in these races. I missed many braking points due to forgetting about wear.

Even getting DC'd from two races, I'm still glad I participated tonight. I had a lot of fun. :) Thanks guys for making it happen.

Edit: Something interesting. Had anyone taken jobyone up on his offer of 25 bonus points for using his unique lineup, they would have won tonight. But probably not had much fun.

@Kgffy wins the night and can choose the new PP.

Even if I had not crashed at Trial Mountain and taken a 2nd place...the best I could have done was 58pts. KG's RX7/GTR combo was the clincher. nice job.

@Nicktune gets 2nd and chooses the qualifying track.

@jobyone I entered the data into the spreadsheet.

It's official. @kendawg is a cheater :)
