I can jump on around 2 Saturday. Playing in a golf tournament Saturday morning. But should be back home around 2.

Official Announcement

The three tacks with the most votes are:

Tsukuba
Indy Road Course
Tokyo R246

I believe that the groupings will look like this. I will need to make a few test runs to confirm

Group A
High Speed Ring
Tokyo R246
Spa Francorchamps

Group B
Indy Road Course
Deep Forest Raceway
Suzuka

Group C
Mazda Laguna Seca
Twin Ring Motegi
Tsukuba

Let the practice begin. I might be able to make the saturday practice:)

New tracks look good, I'll be on practicing around 4:30pm today. New line-up:

FF - Celica SS-II '99 399pp
4WD - Impreza Coupe 22B-STi '98 463pp
FR - RX-7 Spirit R '02 473pp
MR - NSX '04 454pp

I will be driving home Saturday. Probable won't see any of you until Monday.

One track I voted for made it to the new lineup. Better than the last vote :)

I feel like a winner. While I did not vote for any of these three tracks, I like all of them and they were in my final pool of candidates.

Ok so for later today it sounds like me, Goat, Handlebar, Ken and Ownes can make it? Joby was a maybe? What would you guys like to do? We don't need a concrete plan since we can just head to D3 at 2pm and discuss, but I'm game for tossing some ideas around.

Sorry I missed you yesterday Handlebar, I was running the new FR seasonal with the Spirit R stock to get some practice with it but I couldn't catch the Shelby. I got 2nd in every race. Then I was trying to gold all the AMG academy events and that SLS is just amazing at the 'ring.

I think I should make it. Can I suggest we do sprint races? So qualify then 10 minute races. That would allow us two runs through the combos and people can tweak there lineup for the second set?

Sounds good to me Joby. I'm heading online now.

Ken,
I was thinking of joining the enduro tonight with the ZR1. Can I run just the one time?

I like the practice races. It really gives you an idea if you need to change or drop a car to your line up. I am all for some practice races on Thursday.

I say Thursday because it gives a small amount of time to throw a line up together after Monday night and a few days to change it before the next Monday night.

I'm up for it on Thursdays, depending on when my kids practices are, and what other nonsense I have to do when school starts back up.

Great fun earlier. I really liked 2 cars, 1 was OK, and the other needs a change.... Even a 'mini practice' with 4-5 guys, running 2-4 laps per round should get you a decent idea of how your ride shakes out. We could even try shorter laps, and have a back to back race on each track to try out different cars.

I took my 4WD on Indy Road since I was worried it would get crushed if someone took High Speed Ring or Spa, so I saved my NSX just in case. I think the NSX may have come closer to someone, even... "Beuhler" at Indy, and the 4WD would have been closer to the pack.

Still, that was a blast. I am really, really, enjoying Performance Cap Racing.

This is one of the best formats of racing in GT5. I'm like you Handlebar, I really enjoy it.
I think your also right about the laps. You can usually tell in 2 or 3 laps how your car is doing. If you have choosen the right one or if you need to make a change.
So, really we could run 2 or 3 laps at all 10 tracks. Shouldn't take more than an hour or so.
