It was kind of boring by myself but I think with 10 people on the grid it (I hope) will be a white knuckle ride for 20mins.

It was white knuckles with just four on track, can't wait to see how it goes with double (at least hopefully) that :)

PP Update:

RX-8 Type S '07 (436PP) premium

Listed in the 438's at 433

Great car BTW.

Also is there a quick way to decipher what cars on the list are Premium or Standard.

.

So I was the one who listed the RX8 premium at 433pp. I always break in my cars at the Grand Valley endurance race in B Spec. Has worked perfectly for all my cars. Apparently the premium rotaries need more miles. After last night mine hit 213 miles and is at 434pp. Saw this post this morning and ran it around Route X to 234 miles and I'm still at 434pp.

How many miles on yours Owens?

I'll shoot you a friend request on PSN when I get home later.

Hey kendawg, my friend request to you is still pending...

186.8 miles. Did four races at Like the Wind.

Started at 432pp new with oil. Then ran those four races. Changed oil. Sitting at 436pp.

Wonder if you maybe forgot to change the oil when new and ran a race. Had an issue with the ZR1 RM combo on Sunday. I was down PP and still don't get what I did wrong. Bought new. Repeated above and was at full PP.

Wherever tez, I'm on now.

My RX-8 type S '07 is 436pp 216.2miles.

Joby,
A couple spreadsheet issues:
Just got a 2,000mile celica SS-II from UCD and after engine rebuild it is 401pp. Spreadsheet says 399.

97 NSX coupe you have down at 444pp. Just got one from UCD with 18k miles and after engine rebuild it is at 450pp

Tentative lineup:
FF - Mitsubishi FTO GPX '99 (406PP with 30k miles on it)
FR - Toyota FT-86 Concept II '11 (413PP)
MR/RR - Dome Zero Concept '78 (409PP)
4WD - Toyota Celica GT-Four '98 (431PP)

Total (+20PP) - 1659PP

Testing in D3 with Tez now:

VW Golf GTI 411pp
Diahatsu Storia X4 370pp
RX-7 type R-S '95 439pp
Acura NSX '91 440pp

Be there in a moment.

Thanks for the Micro-racing, Tez & Kozak.

I am not-tentatively changing my MR.

I am going to try the VX220 '00 instead.

Lineup 2.0

FF - Spoon Integra - 422 PP
4W - Daihatsu Storia X4 - 370 PP
MR - Vauxhall VX220 '00 - 410 PP
FR - Mugen S2000 - 433 PP

1635 PP

It's so funny that I have micro managed this Super Speedway car choice more than any other combo in PP Cap. It's like for some reason I think that extra .5 second will somehow win the Pole and the race ;)

I tried a few cars near the PP limit of 451 but I couldn't get appreciably faster than some of the really nice cars in the mid 430pp range.

Hilarious...In a few short sessions with MANY cars around that damn oval I can't find a single car that I think would really dominate for pole position. So I feel like I wasted all that time... ;)

Care to share your choice;)

The NSX at 450 is much faster than most anything else (41.7 in clean air) but I don't think it's fast enough to drive away from everything else with the draft. That's a lot of points to use just to get the pole and not virtually guarantee a win as well.

It's not "much" faster. Just a teeny weeny bit faster. I was getting low 42s in a couple cars with several pp less.

Which is my point. Nothing out there really outclasses another. Still exploring options but pretty confident an FR car will win. Several of them are just so easy to drive lap after lap consistently even in traffic.

If I can run a 42.0 in the Scirocco, you faster guys will squeeze more out of it than that....but I agree with bowler; too much PP to 'waste' given the draft.

You might want to break in your clio Schmiggz. It's counted at 434 pp.

.5 sec can definitely be drafted. I'd be happy to use 10pp less and finish one spot behind you :)

I've found a couple cars even lower that corner a few mph faster but just don't have the grunt pulling out of the corner.

I'll just try to run the most aerodynamic car at the lowest pp capable of sticking with the pack. Sounds easy enough, haha.

My line for 1640pp
Avg. = 410
Split = (369- 451)
*= Standard

MR - Elise '96 - 418pp
FR- Mugen S2K* - 433pp

I will update the sheet.

Just a quick heads up I will not be there tonight and will miss next week (13th Anniversary). Missing 3 weeks in a row really sucks.

Have fun guys.
