CAuse I don't upload them.
You want a replay save it lol
Looks good JCCars have now been added to the Drivers List for this season. Let me know mistakes you see. Thanks.
And in unrelated news: you can't save an online room setting with user created circuits. If I had known that, I never would have suggested the idea.
on the track selection post texAny decision on what will be the order of Chosen Tracks for next season?
Selfish turdNope... Working together would be a Team thing. This series is not run like a team championship
yeah, but the only people that have the same cars are in different divisions.Nope... Working together would be a Team thing. This series is not run like a team championship
Nope. Just what works for me doesn't work for everyone elseSelfish turd![]()
that's what war said a while back, It was a lie.Nope. Just what works for me doesn't work for everyone else
I hope not also TexOne of the Advertised Qualities of GT-1 is that "there are people with tuning experience that will gladly help".
Perhaps we have devolved into "Do it yourself" now.
I hope not - folks will start leaving.
that may be true. but lets say they had their suspension set up just right for them, but they may need a transmission tune so they have the accl. they want and the top speed they need to be competitive. Just because you think it may not work for other people doesn't mean it won't. That's all I have to say on the subject.Nope. Just what works for me doesn't work for everyone else
Very very well said. And the tune I give away was a tune from a year ago Vert and I drew up. When we BOTH raced Corvettes together. Me or him giving away tunes helpps no one. It is the knowlage of how it is done that I have repeately shared that means everything. One setup is just one track. Then next week its crap or someone forces you in a new direction. Ppl say I memorize this and have this and that and its all a bunch of BS. I have no 2 tunes alike for even the same car. The setup thats being discussed [Deep Forest V3] was custom built from the ground up in season 4 of GT1 and at first it was not a success for us both. Vert was still green to the series and we had to worry about the vastly superior SLS. Vert come to me in need of something new. I give him my setup that didnt work for him at all.I believe he can tell you I said these very words "To have the success with the setup you have to use a technigue of mine called DRIVING THE CAR OFF THE REAR SPRINGS ." Night after night we practiced the technique until he caught on. Once he learned my technique we were able to rapidly make headway because of each others feedback . Anyway the rest is history. So its not a lie its technique and dedication. We were a TEAM.There are plenty of reputable tuners on gtplanet that have base tunes and I've even made relationships in the past with tuners to get personalized tunes. People just need to utilize this vast resource Jordan has created for us and it's easy peasy. I tried birdies tune last season and it didn't work for me at all, I was way behind him and I'm supposed to be a "pro". Being on a dualshock changes the feel.
Although I am mega appreciative of the support birdie gave to me to get me going, this season I shall turn to my dualshock tuner brethren to help dial me in. Everyone is different and there is no perfect tune. The selling point for me to join GT1 is to begin to explore tuning myself and open up part of the game I'd avoided since GT4 while I was limiting myself to stock, spec, shuffle or whatever. Find me a racing series anywhere where everyone has the exact same equipment or specs. Racing is about making the best with what you have and tuning creates the variety that simulates reality better.
oh Crap!ok so here are the regulations for the new season: Any road car 350hp and weight reduced to 1030. ALL pros will then have to add weight to the 1070. I'm thinking SS and SM tires. Still need to test but I'm confident in the tires regs.
If you have any questions let me know this should be a fun season!

but the point isn't to give them their race tune and I hope no one expects a race tune. The point I was making was helping each other, seeing what each other are doing. Pointing out weak points for each other on track or what could be done with in a tune to help with a problem area.I don't mind helping. Great example will be thorracing. I helped him with setup for his Camaro because we have known each other for a long time and he was struggling and asked for help. The tune that Warman Hine gave to me was a setup used long ago. We spent countless hours developing an perfecting it. Driving stylessons and comfort can change every aspect of a setup from suspension to gearing to even aero. So what works for me won't always work for someone else. I have been experiencing issues with the CTS-V. It took me almost 500-600 miles before I figured out what through issue was.

Just has to deal with the balance of the car while cornering. Which definitely takes time. When War allowed me a setup for the Fairlady, I was amazed to notice that all 4 tires were wearing at the same rate.
How that was accomplished is a mystery - and one that I'm sure I will never solve in the future.
Not asking, just acknowledging his talent and effort invested in understanding it.
