Very close finish at Tokyo in Touring car. My car very slightly ahead right at start/finish line.

We have scheduled the RUF 3400 at Sierra for next week. We are announcing in advance because the course is driven infrequently and you will be DOOMED if you do not know what's next. Be very careful passing there..the track is narrow...the good news is that with boost you will not be forced to TT alone if you fall off.

Tentative schedule. For NEXT week..single lap random start....single lap based on first race....two or three lap reverse grid. We will try a grid start in the first race but may revert to rolling single file starts if it results in carnage.

yup..the track might embarrass some snails as they never drive on it and the car while not tricky...is different than the straightforward FR....but not much. Put it this way in the wrs event I beat a number of VERY fast guys because of track knowledge.

I am interested in joining, at least as an occasional driver. Hoping to make it tonight.

Send @Nail-27 a FR and he'll get you an invite sent out. Then go purchase the 4 cars listed on page 1, oil change, and slap your Snail color/number. Hope to see you tonight. Lobby will open at 9pm-ish

Hmmm...I am confused...
Some setup problems...
1. My Mazda Touring Car is set to defaults but still has more than the 198HP listed (Showing 214).
2. My Subaru BRZ with oil change shows me 208 HP instead of 192.
All upgrades are disabled on the two cars as far as I can tell

Sorry lads, seems I fell through the cracks. I already had @Nail-27 in my friend list, didn't realize I needed a new club invite (need to work on my reading comprehension, as I now see it right there in the first post)

Does the club show up in your community page?

I found the club, but am not a member, I need to be sent an invite to join. I hadn't realized that this event was hosted outside the main SNAIL club...it explains why I have never found it in the past.

What tires on the 3400?

Bump for tonight. Everyone get used to SIerra and the RUF 3400
I am kind of terrified...my first week is with a track I really don't know well. I did all the Sierra challenges ages ago, but to be honest, I did them with driving line on (long before I was a SNAIL).

I also didn't have much time for practice this week...so all my practice time went to the sunday night combos.

Don't worry about the track, although intimidating for some, the best way to learn it is to drive it. Stick yourself on someones bumper and follow him. Not too close tho. I'm feeling cocky today after a second place overall last night. One of those nights where everything came together on the track. All Canadian top three in D6, eh?

Be there tonight...see above for car specs the rest is for the hosts.

Wait comfort softs? It's more weight and power than the BRZ and that gets sports softs. Gonna definitely need to test tire limits before a race
