Confirming. Is the in-game simulated start time 9 pm? Sorry if I missed it.
Do you mean like track time? Yes it will be at 9pm. This will not always be the case.

Also to everyone running tonight. If I can get everyone to flash their lights at the start it will allow us to see your headlights in the replay. Also please drive with lights on. It's tough enough to see without adding a black car at night coming up on you.

I don't think I can go 30 more minutes. I had my strategy planned for under 60 laps so what is the room setting going to be? 60 laps or 2hrs?

I was not aware of that trick. 👍

Also LMP guys, since I don't have liveries from all of you please make sure you are not running a copy livery. This will complicate any IRs and visuals for pictures and videos.

What are people doing for fuel and pitting? I'm not very good with stuff like this.
I basically figure 90 mins divided by my avg lap time to get a rough number of laps and then use my Pcars dash to see avg fuel per lap and multiply that by my rough laps. Then add a few laps worth of liters to CYA.

Pitting is a matter of how much time you want to either push or conserve tires. Depending on compound and driver ability you may not need to change tires. And pit once for fuel or you can push your tires and pit once or twice. That will fall on how well you use your tires.

Tonight's race will not change. 60laps That was just a thought brought up earlier to help with laps for GT3 but Pcars won't allow that to work.

I must be iPhone stupid considering I've had it for two years... How can I get my display from going black while Dash is running?

My "Race Dash" never blacks out. But in Settings>General there's Auto-lock, can select "never" might help...

Disconnected. That's 3+ hours of practice/testing/life re-organization completely wasted. I'm sorry guys, but I just can't justify the gamble. As much as I want to support another SNAIL pCARS league, I just can't spend the time on a toss-up. :(

Unbelievable.. I get disconnected 35 laps in.. I put a lot of practice into this race and that had to happen. Well it looks like I stayed up till 4AM for no reason. :guilty:

Yeah, it sucks. I did everything I could to ensure the best odds of making it through the night. Wasn't meant to be I suppose.

Not the way I wanted to finish. My wheel was making loud banging noise when I turn to the right on high speed turns. It started last night at Road America on the last turn entering the main straight. I raced earlier today and all was fine. What I found out after a long search is that the teeth on my belt are binding with the steering gear. With every bang the wheel slowly becomes out of alignment. Tonight after this banging my center alignment was at 2:00. I tried to continue but was fruitless. With over 35 laps remaining my race was over. Chalk this one up to equipment failure.

I recall seeing you in the pits, then all of a sudden you left. Bummer man. I had a wreck early but kept plugging away hoping I could salvage something. Fricking weekend internet...

I lost control of my wheel. I hit the turn 2 wall extremely hard, giving me back wheel control , but no pedals. I had to leave , sorry.

There were some electrical gremlins out to get people tonight. Along with some mechanical failures. I just couldn't find the speed you guys had.

Even with the issues this still felt like an old fashioned endurance race. I look forward to the future races. I know things may look grim for those who did have issues, but who's to say your opponents won't have those issues next week. As with any endurance series there are bound to be times that we work for nothing. For those who had that issue I'm sorry and I hope to see you in future races.

I think my pit strategy was kinda crappy too honestly. In practice I was able to run within half a second of my fastest soft tire times being on the mediums, but I couldn't make that happen during the race. Maybe track temp difference? I did noticed as the mediums began to wear it was becoming increasingl difficult to keep heat in them. This is definitely something to take into consideration as it seemed to have a significant effect on my car's stabilty. I was happy with the tune though and super excited my qually lap was my fastest ever. It feels good to put in that clutch lap when it counts, even though it really didn't. Oh well, it was a fun 20 laps or so..
