#goodparent I was just ranting yesterday to my wife about how bad some parents are and not spending time with their kids.

Unfortunately I think that's a lot of what's wrong with the world today,not enough parents spending time with their kids,I raised 4 daughters and have 6 grandchildren,it is hard but possible to spend time with ALL of them

That's why I don't have kids yet. I'm still a kid myself. So is my wife. 26 and 24. Been married 5 years almost 6. I'm a lucky man. I know. She lets me get whatever I want with the rig and racing along with music. Lots of support from her end. She doesn't really understand anything I say about racing but she'll listen. I've been trying for years to get her behind the wheel but no go. That's all I can really say when it comes to home life. I see so many people around me that aren't ready for kids in their life but have like two or three.

You are a very lucky and smart young man,maybe if I had been that smart when I was younger I could have stayed married to my children's mother,my wife now is actually my 3rd but we just celebrated 19yrs of marriage,not all roses but not all thorns either,it takes work guys just keep it up

I'd like to make a suggestion if you don't mind. I think there is a significant benefit for the GT class drivers if the races were time based, rather than lap based. The reason is we (as GT drivers) don't really know how long the race could last because it really depends on the leader (LMP2 pace) in a lap based race. We know we will be several laps behind, but without a known race distance (OUR laps or time) it is kind of sketchy to plan a strategy. The LMP guys don't have this disadvantage because they know their theoretical race distance. I hope that makes sense.

Agreed. However turnout was low at 2hr mark. And I think it only allows 1hr then 2 hr

I wouldn't wanna drop to 1 hr so unless everyone or a majority would push through another 30 mins I will attempt to get an estimated gt3 lap total.

Apologies for being so quiet, been a busy week for me. It's also Mother's Day race day for me in Australia lol but will definitely still be racing as I've managed to plan my day around it . Didn't want to miss the opening round!
I haven't had as much testing as I'd like but use the Mclaren in the game's GT3 series so I'm accustomed with it.

So looking forward to getting on track with everyone, a nice sized grid for this race .
