With this game you can set up all your possible pit stops. set up two additional pit stops just for damage, one soft tire one medium tire. This will give you options when you are on the track and things head south.

I think I might even consider more options than that. Depending on when in your run I have the bobble could sway my need for a fix and tires, but maybe no fuel... stuff like that. Jeez, I can see having a good 6-8 different strategies. Well, I can assure you I won't be putting that much into it this week, maybe as the season progresses I will dig deeper into this kinda stuff.

Agree 6 -8 strategies per race will be common. If you can think of an issue which may require a pit stop, make a strategy, You may never use it, but like insurance, you are glad it is there just in case.

I guess you can even do it on the fly. As you pull in just edit it for tires or fuel and go.

Oh jeez,I can see I'm in trouble already :boggled:

Man, I probably won't even tune the car much more than what I've already done to it, which is just tire pressures and gearing.

Maybe I'll be on later for some laps...

The Merc was REALLY good at Road America with minimal changes, but I realized the setup needed more attention at Hockenheim. The tighter long turns of sector three were putting the girl out of her comfort zone. The ultra tight hairpin also begged for better rotation. I think I spent about an hour last night working on the tune. There are a couple other things I want to try but I know I need to do a long run practice to work out a pit strategy.

I can do some practice tonight if you're interested.

#goodparent I was just ranting yesterday to my wife about how bad some parents are and not spending time with their kids.

I had that childhood. It's something you don't realize until you're an adult. I can be very obsessive about my hobbies, but I also know I need to be intentional about balance. Hence why I like the bi-weekly format for a tuning series. 👍
