Great racing again last night guys. It’s a pleasure racing against competent and more importantly respectable drivers but I got to say MAN you guys make it tough, just one little misstep and you can pretty much guarantee a few positions will be lost. Great stuff!

Personally and has always been the case it seems Parcells biggest obstacle is between my ears. In the first race second was all but guaranteed as there is no way Grimm should have caught and passed me on the last lap. Granted Grimm had a big off half way through the race that put me in a position to beat him otherwise I’m highly unlikely to beat him any day of the week but all I had to do was drive a clean lap and stay on the track (DOH!!!) and second was guaranteed….stupid stupid stupid.

Then I go and run out of gas on the last lap of the second race with third mostly wrapped up and finished 8th I think. This did surprise me cause at the end of the first race I had about an 8th of a tank of gas left so in the second race I added exactly 9 liters less than the first race so I wasn’t even paying attention to my fuel cause if I was I could have popped into the pits for a splash and still finish 5th…stupid stupid stupid

Regardless 20.5 laps of great competition of a 21 lap race is more that I can ask for. Great series Grimm!!!

Yes, another thoroughly enjoyable night's racing with a great bunch of drivers. I was delighted to achieve my first win of the series and when I ended up with a second place finish in race 2 it gave me a nice symmetric podium record for the series with 1 first place, 2 second place and 3 third place finishes!

It was a pity JWalker couldn't make it to race last night as it would have added more spice to the championship race but I am obviously delighted to come away with the overall win.

Many thanks to Grim for a great piece of ongoing organisation and well done on accumulating 4 wins throughout the season. If it wasn't for the fact you had wheel problems and were forced to use a controller in the first couple of races I am sure the series would have been yours.

I can not believe how close the competition is. One run off into the sand and i lost 2 positions easily.

The first race was a struggle as i started 6th in qualifying but dropped instantly to 11th. Then i thought i put just enough gas in the tank and i ran out coming down the hill on the last lap and had to give back the 7th position that i fought so hard for. That had to be the most depressing part of the whole night lol.

Second race was a little congested but the results were outstanding, like usual i started around 6th place and before i know it im back in 10th but after seeing eveyone pit it opened a window to chase down 1st place for a lap. Just to be sure in the second race i added 5 more liters and had more than enough to finish. I found myself finishing in 7th i believe. Either way im proud to be top 10 in both races.

Can't wait to see what the next series holds, but you can gaurantee ill be their as long as they day of the week doesn't change.

Im working on the post race report now however I wanted to take this time to thank everyone for making the 1st season such a success. You all made the races so much fun to participate in and make it work. We had some great lobbys (averaging just under 12 drivers each week) and the battles on the track were hard fought but very respectful. Next season looks to be even better!

This week, the series took on the Road Course at Twin Ring Motegi as we had 13 drivers make up the field. With a number positions in the standings up for grabs. When all was said and done, turnupdaheat held on capture the series championship by a single point over GrimGrnninGhost. Congratulations @turnupdaheat on the championship!

The other key event that was taking place was the battle for a top 10 finish in the point standings as that will play a bigger role starting next season (details to follow later this week)

As we wrap up the season, we have a number of things taking place:

1 – Be sure to get your votes in for the next season combo. You have less than 24 hours to get your votes in. Details can be found here! Combo to be announced Friday!

2 – Similar to the NASCAR All Star Race, an entry into the race can be earned by a “Fan Vote” which all drivers that raced this past season can cast a vote for who they feel should participate based on racecraft/sportsmanship/contributions to the series. Details can be found here! Winner to be announced Saturday!

3 – Significant rule change for next season regarding race participation qualification process will be announced Sunday!​

Congratulations to Season 1 Series Champion, turnupdaheat! Season 1 produced tight battles throughout the field and turnupdaheat took the championship by 1 point over GrimGrnninGhost. It came down to the final race of the season and was great battle throughout the season.

Congratulations to team TransAtlantic Motorsports (turnupdaheat & GrimGrnninGhost) for taking the Inaugural Season Team Championship. Although we had four teams this past season, we are looking to have even more teams next season.

Congratulations to the above listed drivers who qualified for this seasons All Star race. As mentioned earlier, we will be allowing one extra entry into the event based on a driver vote which closes Friday @ 9:00pm EDT.


Next week the 1st Season All Star race will take place at the famed Nürburgring 24h. See you at the track!​

As mentioned earlier in the week we have made a change to the Optional Team Championship rules (details can be found here). Below are the current division assignments for Season 2. Those in SNAIL are based on Sunday SNAIL Division assignments as of this posting. Those not in SNAIL are based on performance from last season (minimum 4 races). Anyone assigned to a division below are eligible to form teams as long as the combined team score is 6 or greater.

Looking forward to seeing teams announced for next season. Please remember that teams from Season 1 can not team up again for season 2.
When signing up for a team, please provide team car color and team name.

There is nothing special you need to do. The points you earn each night is added to your teammates points and that is team points that week. Team with the most points at the end of the season wins the team championship for that season and gets the bragging rights.
