This season, we averaged just under 14 racers over the 9 races competing in 227 laps.
Thanks to everyone for making Season 2 a great success!
Of course! Just let me know your race number you want to use (one that is not taken by an Active or Part Time driver in the OP) and what colors you plan to run (need pain chip names please) and I'll get you set up@GGGMotorsport is there room for another?
Welcome to the Series! Be sure to understand the Knock-Out Qualifying process as being new you will need to go through it at least once. If you have ANY questions, please let me know and again, welcome to the series. See you on the track!Hey, I'd like to join this series if there's still openings. I'm not currently a SNAIL member, although I was for a while back during the GT5 days around just under 2 years ago. I eventually became inactive as I had consistent conflicts with the Sunday night timeslot. However, I am still very much aware of the SNAIL OLR 👍
I took out the Corvette for a few laps to get a feel for it. The last time I drove it was in GT5. Despite the physics changes from GT5 to GT6, the car still understeers horribly like it did in GT5

@Nail-27, as a little new season gift I would be pleased if you would take over the running of the number 27 from now on. I will switch to number 6 which I believe is still free. Can you confirm this is the case Grim?
Once I hear back from @Nail-27 in the PM I sent, I can make the change provided Nail wants to use #27 that is. Please let me know ASAP. Thanks
Actually, #6 is not available. Volcoman3 has it as a part time driver
Sounds good!. Once we here back from @Nail-27 in the PM I sent him and he confirms the number changes, I'll update the list. ThanksSorry, I hadn't checked the part time driver list. It looks like #8 is free. If so, I'll choose it.
If Another team can for DCschwinn an my self will for another team.... Details to followthat makes seven teams! KnockOut Qualifying is going to be intense this season. I'll update the SG tomorrow.
If Euclid is adopting team colors can I have Grand Prix White then....since I'm not on a team, and My qualifying will be....shall we say...fraught with uncertainty....white works. We already have a bunch of yellow and dark color cars. I thought every team had to be different. There's Yellow and Metallic Yellow >_>
No problem. Just let me know the team colors and name once you guys have it confirmedIf Another team can for DCschwinn an my self will for another team.... Details to follow
No problem!Could I change my color to the official Team Corvette Velocity Yellow ( or its current equivalent) are too many green cars lol.
In short (at a high level), the top 10 in points are locked into the main events. That leaves at a minimum 6 available spots open for the main events. those NOT in the top 10 in points must earn their way into the main event via knockout qualifying which takes place between 8:00 and 8:40pm eastern in a lobby I set up that is in practice mode. those drivers run practice laps and I track the fastest lap times. In this example, the fastest 6 times in the KOQ move on to the main event races. In most cases, not all of the top 10 drivers will not be able to race for that week for various reasons so lets say, 8 of the top 10 drivers confirm they will race, then that leave 8 spots open for KOQ. So the goal is to stay in the top 10 in points and you dont have anything to worry about. if not, be sure you are in the KOQ lobby early and get your lap times in. Hope this helps.I am still very uncertain of how all of qualifying works. Now that I'm officially a member, is it different for me?
Im not that concerned about the colors folks are choosing except that I do ask that teams run the same team colors on both cars. The spotter guide allows everyone to see what colors are being used and "if" they want to change, they can.We already have a bunch of yellow and dark color cars. I thought every team had to be different. There's Yellow and Metallic Yellow >_>
White it is! I assume for both body and wheels? If Euclid is adopting team colors can I have Grand Prix White then....since I'm not on a team, and My qualifying will be....shall we say...fraught with uncertainty....white works.
