Disconnected twice. I'm sorry to say this, but I think I may have to pull out of S.N.A.I.L. until I can get my connectivity issues fixed. And here I was, hoping that I'd be able to get some fun racing done over the summer.

Sorry, for the late notice. I just got bak from work. I can't make it for tonight. Don't really have time to break the cars in. I think in the future, I might rather advise when I can make it rather than when I can't. :P Hopefully I'll make it next week.

Thanks kcheeb and zer05ive for the opportunity to serve SNAIL. It has been an honour to play a key role in the best league on gtplanet. Not always easy, but definitely rewarding. I do a bit of a volunteer work in the real world at a kids shelter and although not the same, it is in that I enjoy the responsibility of helping and keeping things running smoothly.

It's my pleasure to announce that Dragonwhisky has accepted the position of Chief Steward. His leadership and even keel will keep our league rolling in the right direction. Thanks Dragonwhisky, and congratulations on your new role.

Joe, thanks for all the contributions you made to the league as our chief steward. You are solid as a rock and utterly dependable. Even when surrounded by waves of chaos, you're able to calm the seas and bring order. Well done!

Dragonwhisky, thanks for taking the reigns from Oshawa-Joe. You've got big shoes to fill, but we're excited to see what new things you bring to the table. Congrats on the new role!

D2 Director's Report:

Good racing in D2 tonight! The top 6 racers finished within 10 points! Good job tonight guys! One thing though; there are three drivers running yellow, that needs to change.

Amazing!! D2, thank you all for the great competition. These races were some of the best I've had on GT5.

Yes! I agree! Three with the same color has to go.

Glad your having a good time. Tonight you didn't race like you were nervous like last week. Great job!:)👍

Good fun night in D3, wish I knew how to drive the Lotus better, man I was bad! Actually it should read BAD!!!

Loved the combo at GVE, I seem to do better with cars that have a tighter suspension. Body roll messes with me

Glad zegrated and Whitlock9mm had fun tonight, always good when the new guys enjoy themselves

It's great to hear about all the great racing, but if you believe that another driver exhibited poor racecraft or is guilty of an OLR Rules violation, please file a complaint by 10pm Eastern / 7pm Pacific on Monday night. Please follow the complaint process precisely or you risk having your complaint not addressed! If you're undecided on whether or not you should file a complaint, please read this. Also keep in mind that a race complaint isn't supposed to be an argument. Here are some good tips on how to make sure things stay civil and respectful. 👍

Division 4 Director's Report

Another amazing night with the D4 gang and another huge thanks to Bandit for hosting. Add to the list of great guys are moper and goat for keeping the flow going. We always seem to take a little more than the allotted 2 hours but it is just this group making sure everyone has a chance to deal with getting their manure in one sock!

First off the "icky": We need to discuss a League wide ban on horns. Teach everyone how to map them out of their set up. I have to believe I don't need to elaborate much more on this. Second on the list is patients. We are starting to get a little sloppy. Nothing that really warrants a complaint or action from the stewards but as the intensity of D4 has been growing, we need to pay closer attention to proximity rights and check some of the aggressiveness.

The Good Stuff (and the coolest!): D4 is off the hook!! Our drivers are getting better and faster every week. The consistency of our top drivers is incredible! The D4 crowd is blistering fast! With that comes more competitiveness and as I mentioned above a much higher level of intensity. I am so proud of this group! Being a back marker, it can be intimidating at times. In the last race I had a nice 2+ second lead over 2nd place but moperlover chased me down, waited for just the right moment and slid past me for the win. He just plain out-drove me and he won that round without incident! Division 4 just plain ROCKS!!

On that bombshell, the D4 Replays have been uploaded!

Thanks to all the guys in D4 for yet another fantastic Sunday night!!

EDIT: If it is okay with the admin and D5, we will just hold on to JJLopez for the duration!! He belongs with us! Great driver!!

Agreed... awesome night in D2! 👍 👍

And on the color front I'll be looking to change things up by practice. Getting a little tired of the 'Ronald McDonals' look. :sly:

And for my final trick..... D2 Replays are up 👍

edit : hey look at me post # 100!! :D

not sure about everyone else but d4 was a blast. lap after lap of passing back and forth.

If the gt academy doesn't keep going for atleast 4 more years, I'm going to be mad cuz since I'm 14, I'm too young to even think about qualifying for the final event... I'll be looking forward to seeing everyone's progress through the competition.

Agreed danger! 👍 As apart of the younger SNAILs (15 years here) I hope GT Academy continues for a long time so that if I ever gain the potential to actually compete, I'd have enough real world skill to drive fast. :D Im a long ways off but there is always room for improvement. :) Who knows, maybe I'll be a future GT Academy winner? :sly:

Btw, love the new header of the thread! 👍 👍 👍

Don't worry too much about GTAcademy. If you do much of anything in real life, they will find a way to disqualify you. I have been out before it started since the beginning because I had a NASCAR license. The rules say that you have to have a certain level of license to be excluded so I did some research and sure enough, my license kept me from being eligible. I wouldn't trade my NASCAR experiences for anything that GTAcademy has to offer. Even now that my license has expired, I would fully expect them to throw me out due to my physical size.

Same with me, myself I'm 16 and I usually look up to some of the faster guys and watch there lines on the replays. So as I'm growing up, I will continue to watch the faster guys lines. And hopefully I can pick up with there lines and maybe 1 day ill be right up with the fast guys
