On a side note - I was perusing the torque numbers for the cars for tonight and was kinda shaking my head and frowning.
Then, I hit the 'Vette we used last night in SPEC, and a big 'ol sh!7eating grin just appeared on my face. I think I might be in love. With a sexy blue eyed gal named Torque. She's a big lass, but the more there is of her, the more there is to love.. And so long as she has some really tight kicks on them feets, her and I will go strolling for long time.

Looking forward to trying the dfgt thing out.

I havent seen the watch this. But I just want ta say, I had about 4 driving force pro's and my brake pedal sticks starts sticking and it only will stick with GT games. If I switch to another racing game, the brake works fine. I just dont get it. I'm used to racing up front and it tough to race when I have to pull my brake pedal up. I suggest anyone getting a wheel, spend the money for a G25 or G27 all metal construction, with a clutch

As it stands stock, the G27 and the DFGT have 900° of travel, mechanically, from lock to lock. This is re-calibrated every time you boot the PS3 and/or launch GT5. The thread shows how you can, while you're in game, change the calibration of the wheel so you reach in game front tire lock at a much earlier point in the steering wheel travel. GT5 does some compensation, automatically, depending on which car you are currently driving, but from my perspective it's never been enough. I was talking to Panda last night and he related how, when we ran the Ferrari formula car at Monaco, he was able to get through the hairpin at 60MPH. But in order to do it, he had to hand over hand, about 450°, to get the tires to steering angle lock and make the turn that fast. I dunno about the rest of you, but I think Panda may have hands and arms made by The Flash, and fire hardened balls of steel to even try that. The adjustment that thread describes will change the necessity of such outrageous requirements to get a car to do the unthinkable without filling your britches with excrement.

Basically, the settings reduce the distance you have to move your hands to get the front tires turned.

Got up late today and decided that maybe I should run a few laps so I did not have results like I did over the last couple of weeks. It was going well until this happened. I am not sure if it is a good or bad omen for tonight but it was pretty trippy when it was happening.
