Uggh. My PS3 has been extremely slow lately, and I think the internal NIC might be going bad. Anyway, I lagged out hard in the first 2 races, and now can't stay connected to the lounge, so I'm out for the night. Good luck D2. Was looking forward to some good racing

Half way point in D1 and the racing is intense. Super tight, super fast, and great fun. Hope the Lamborghini doesn't bring heartache.

Incredible night of racing in D1. Once again I worked up sweat. The Lambo was much more fun then I expected. Honestly thought I'd spin out multiple times. However that car loves being hung out and ran like a dog.

Looking forward to seeing the results and vote count.

Frickin amazing night in D4 got all 3 poles with 3 wins to go with them I am going to have fun next weekend with all the D4 guys with the new combos!

Special thanks to tex-36 for pushing me to go faster in almost every round!!!!

Division 4 Race Report​

To quote The Goat: "Racing is always so much more intense with new drivers"

It really is. Getting veteran SNAILs from other divisions really breaths life into race night. Tonight was about as intense a night as I have had in several weeks. (and a much better one at that). D4's newest members from D5 showed that they belong here with us. Bandit gave us all a run for our money and Tex made quite a statement tonight. Going into the last round we had a 4 way tie for 4th going and that set the stage for a sweat fest in the Lambo. Everyone did a great job tonight and a huge thanks to the D4 gang for all the help keeping everything going. (In our own "special" D4 way!) It look like the PS3 and wheel are safe from distruction for yet another week!

D3 report
So, another great night of racing in d3. Had only minor network issues. Had a few rough rubs as well, but nothing that won't buff out. Unofficially OneSpace walk away with the win. But it was no cake walk, as the top four finishers were all within 4 points of each other. Ph1sher won the tie with 1 first place finishes and a second, to GTP-XR whom had 2 silvers and a bronze. Schimmgz rounded out the 4, 63,62,62,60 respectively. Good night of races fellas.

Thanks to all the D-4 members for a great night of close racing. Thoroughly enjoyed the night ...... except when my front bumper was making out with the rock wall at Trial Mtn. "Mistakes" are pounced on by any and all that are behind you ..... which makes for a much greater focus the next time.
Thanks again ....... I completely enjoyed the night.

The settings change helped me quite a bit. I tried the 450 (or whatever was close to that). Hairpins were less a wrestling match with the wheel and closer to driving.

I tried the smallest setting and did not do well with that in finesse areas. My hands of stone needed a bit more leeway.

I agree handle, the caveat to that being that on cars like the lambo, I found myself wanting to drift every corner. I set my wheel to 360° and ran it all night. I was far more consistent with the lotus and the s2000 though.

I suspect, but only zer05ive and kcheeb are likely the ones to say for sure, that your lap times and division balancing were the deciding factors for your promotion to D2. Good luck there!

I love how you assumed I was going to d2 lol. I did not mention what division I was going to in my post.
