From my standpoint, examples of good behavior should be made public. Examples of less than good behavior should be kept private. I've seen more than one case where parents were open and forthright about their "escapades" as children, teenagers, young adults and I've yet to see their children actually go "oh look, mom, or dad, did this when they were young and it didn't turn out well. I'm not going to do that." It's been my experience that those learning, when they discover others have done a thing, regardless of historic outcome, get arrogant and think they can do it better.
The capability exists for everyone of us to look at the events they have been penalized for. It is also stated, in every Steward Summary that if you have questions about a penalty you were assessed, to ask your Division Steward about it and he/she will explain the findings. If you don't save the replays, or ask, when you're uncertain about a penalty, I don't see how league management can be of further assistance.
I just don't think publicly displaying examples of less than desirable racecraft will serve the best interests of the group as whole. The more we shine light on the good behavior however...
There's more I could say on this subject but I'll stop here for now.
I agree with showing the positive side of things 👍
For the examples I cited, I was thinking about setting up the scenarios to show how to deal with those situations.
eg. 1. Concertina effect braking. When in a line of cars, you must brake earlier than your normal point.
1. Establish what the normal (no one in front of you) brake point is.
2. Show when the first person in line brakes at that point, your brake point will need to be adjusted to stay behind the driver in front. Instead of ghosting through them or taking them out.
If we take that perspective with the examples, I think it will show S.N.A.I.L.s what they can do to drive clean and fair.
