If anyone isn't into duping paint chips but wants a certain color, let me know. I most likely have it and have no problem sending over as many as you want.

If you have any spare 'Sparkle Yellow Metallic', bowler....if I am to change colour from dark green, I'll go with that one as no one has taken yellow yet :)

I do have 2 of them so I can do it, but I've used my quota of sending 5 paint chips from my second account on the PS3 today

I'll take #15. I know spooble picked 15 but he's in D2.

Division does not matter. No duplicates throughout the entire league.

I don't think division matters for number selection, really, as division affiliations change and cars sometimes stay the same.

Well put. Exactly what I was thinking.

If drivers are in separate divisions could a number be duplicated?

No, it doesn't matter if drivers are in separate divisions. If more than one person wants the same number, the driver with more league nights under their belt get priority. In fact, I'd like to clarify my earlier post where I said that "seniority gets priority". What I meant to say was "consistency gets priority". The way I worded it the first time implies that people who joined the league earlier would have priority. However, that is not correct. The priority goes to the person who has raced with us on Sunday night more often. I will create a Google Doc that will summarize how many times each driver has raced with us. That way, it'll be a lot easier for everyone to know where they stack on the priority list. The Google Doc will be updated each week so that drivers can easily track if and when they overtake another driver on the priority list. I know this may sound like overkill to some, but the intention of this is to reward consistency. If anyone is willing to create that Google Doc for us, that would be appreciated. Otherwise, I'll get to it eventually.

If you have Burnt Orange and Hemi Orange that would be great.
Thanks Bowler!

If we are all doing numbers and NOT allowing for any duplicating of them, then what about the car color selection? I like the idea of the not having the same color combos on track, but I know that's just me.

I too like the idea of not having the same color combos on the track. As I mentioned in an earlier post, my intention was to not have duplicate color combos be reserved.

One thing that raised an eye brow when I was review the D1 replays was that you and Mopar were both using the same exact color combo that you had reserved (passionate pink / white). Was that planned or or was that just a one-in-a-million coincidence? I imagine having two identical cars in front of you or in your rear view mirror could be quite disorienting to other drivers. I guess I should address that question to Mopar since those were your colors, not his.. Mopar?

I would like to streamline the paint giving process as much as possible. Anyone who wants paint, please send a friend request to LR-PR-JLBowler with the color you are wanting. I will build a list and rotate through it giving away five chips a day.

Passion Pink with Black Rims? As far as Im aware the color picking was optional, but i Will give you a reason as to why aswell.

Its easier for tutoring if the instructors have the same looking car so that they can be easily identified when in front/back of a driver, just my thoughts.
The pink/white combo was one in a million tho :0

I'll take a look at what I have and send it to you. Any other "Orange" colors you have your eye on? I have 3000+ different color paint chips - I'm pretty sure I can spare you some Orange paints. :sly:

It looks like you will not get your #15 :(

It told me I had to request access.

So I did.

Try again...I changed it to allow anyone with the link access :/

It's based on the driver lineup that kcheeb provided on Saturday....so I know there are names missing from previous races (Lookbeer for example) but figured that was the easiest one to start with.

I sent Mopar a copy of my car and I guess he just didn't paint it. That's more or a question for him. I'm guessing he wanted to be me for that race. LOL

LOL! My PSN name is tcrash15. Hmmm! Emphasizing the 15!
Oh well. I'll be 0.

(Regarding the chart)

Hey! I never missed a Sunday. I was forced to withdraw after network issues in the first race.

I would eliminate the separation by division, make a column for total Sundays actually attended, then sort by that. Then we can put colors and numbers in columns after that.

That would make it easiest to keep track of and to know the order/number of Sundays attended.

The race report said you didn't race due to network problems...I counted that as a did not race, lol

You can change though if you want to, doesn't bother me ;)

Could you have a tutoring car and a league car? just do the oil change on the tutoring car...not like you have to break them in to keep up in practice.

tez, zer0: Do you guys want to pick through the forum and figure out colors and numbers? If not, I'm willing to do it.

Also, the chart is going to need to be password protected or what have you so that it can't be arbitrarily changed.

I filled in the colours based on zer0's updated post....changed mine from dark green to British Racing green though :sly:

As I know next to nothing about google docs, I vote that someone else puts a password on it

We use the same car for both tutoring and racing, so that when we show the students how to take the turn, we are running the exact same car they are. The rooms are locked down in the settings, just like as if it were a race.

If the car selection is optional, then what is the big deal? It's not like anyone can force someone to run a different color. ...same with the numbers, it's not enforceable, really, it's more of a courtesy.

You can't pick 0, it's not a legal number in GT5. Sorry. You could pick 51, so it would be reversed in the rear view mirror of the person in front of you. :sly:

I'll see what I have, and send it to you.

It wasn't said that you should run a different car entirely, just asking one of you to use one version of the car painted in your chosen color on league night, and the pink tutoring car during lessons. Same make, model, etc, just a different color. Hell, you could use the same exact car and just repaint it for league night. Like you said, it's a courtesy thing.

Then he would want 21…kinda.

it's not enforceable, really,

Sure it is. We can impose any number of penalties on someone not abiding. Grrrr! :grumpy:;)

Numbers updated as to who picked them first....I know Handlebar got in before Psycho_Tuber regarding the #2 and spooble before zappa with the #15, not sure if anyone else has doubled up :/
