You will probably be slower with the wheel for a few weeks or longer. Had a friend return his same night he picked it up.

ohh no bones about it... I'm slow. I'm just happy to be racing with people who have personal accountability on the track. I'm looking forward to growing in this league.

Has anyone else noticed the page that has the drivers list takes forever to load? There are no pictures but the entire drivers list is quoted twice. Could that cause a delay loading the page?

I just tried and it popped right up. I have noticed that GTPlanet has been a little touchy the last few days. Sometimes it won't load at all and sometimes it's slow, but I've noticed it on many different pages and not always on those pages. It seems that GTPLanet might be trying to create their own version of the PD Replay Lottery with their loading of pages.

Ok, ive submitted the time trial form. Waiting on my pm with division placement, would it be possible to compete in the enduro this Saturday (today) Or Will I have to wait till Sunday night
Thanks

You would need to ask that question in the enduro thread. It's here: https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/thre...o-racing-first-gt6-race-december-14th.255685/

As for the PM with division placement. I will most likely take care of that before the end of the night. I'm on Pacific time so I mean the end of my night.

I'll just leave this here ;)

Oh that's nice, just throw all of those who do use 'a DFGT or lesser wheel' under the bus next time 👎

Don't know how that happened up there but chuyler isn't the correctly quoted post. Pretty sure I tossed the DFGT users "under the bus" here. Since I used a DFGT for a year and a half before getting a G27, I feel well qualified to say such.

Looks like Exo is gonna make me wait until I wake up in the morning to read the latest Pit Board. :(

@JWalker Please visit here. Your assistance is needed.

I'm still up. gonna go for a smoke and check it out on the phone browser. 👍 @ExoSphere64

Double tap @ExoSphere64
That Pit Board was well worth staying up for. I know it's presumptuous of me to say it this way but, you can blame @Boosted22g for putting me in the mindset, however briefly it may last, We are content and are now going for some cookies and milk, and a pillow and blankets.

Goodnight SNAILs.

I have to say as someone who's owned a DFGT, G27 and T500 if you want to be fast get a G27. I love my T500 but I can not go as fast with it as I could with my G27. I sold the G27 because I prefer the feel of the the T500 and because I love the Bodin load cell I have on mine. If I was going for ultimate pace again like for GT Academy or Seasonals I'd get a G27 again.

@Rockhound18,
Thanks for your interest!
We would love to have you in the league...

5. You drive fast and clean on Sunday 👍

Welcome to S.N.A.I.L.
I just finished all the pre-work, and will submit my time trial tomorrow. Let's get racing. :gtpflag:

My first and foremost goal is to not make a fool of myself and just avoid any incidents, first few times out especially.

I'm really impressed with how well you guys have this set up, with lots of helpful links and tips. I'm sure it's going to make my GT6 experience infinitely better. Many thanks for everyone's collective efforts! Hopefully I can also contribute at some point.

D6 goes to Friends Only this week as we do not have the promised Community Features yet.

I will be sending out the rest of my PSN Friend requests for D6 this morning. After @JLBowler indicates we are not adding new drivers for the week, I will stop for the week.

I do not know what the cap is on PSN Friends, I think it is 100? If I have to remove anyone, I will base it off of how long it has been since you raced/posted. Deadwood is removed first.

I don't see what all of the fuss about the s2000 is about. I think it drives very nicely and it's quite fun actually. It's really not that difficult to control. Unless you were running it on comfort tires which is not what we are using tomorrow.

You must not be pushing the car very hard. When you start to push it is when you start to find it flaws very quickly.

Going to be doing some brake balance testing here in about 15 minutes.

Nonsense and conjecture! With SS tires this car can me pushed hard. Just gotta know how to slide a bit.
And be sure to get that oil change. Before, even without a bleak in you could at least keep pace using lots and lots of draft. But that is not the case in gt6. I was dead on with Chatva in a race with the s2k. By the end of the front straight, he pulled at least 2 car lengths on me, probably more. Very important, oil changes.

Yes I have found the flaws when pushing the car hard. Yes it is a great drive but it can be very frustrating. You have to find that sweet spot going up the hill.
