So, now that Fridays are open, maybe we can do a "feature length" race instead. Who is interested?

Also, here's my car.

M3 GTR... I have been interested in this but by Saturday nights have been filled with my other obsession... Tonight is the end of that until next January. The big stink tonight is ALL about the Supercross finals. It SO burns my biscuits that my sister and brother in law are in Vegas to see it live while I sit on the couch.... Maybe next year! But all that aside, I plan to saddle up for the M3 races next week!!

Let me see if I'm doing this right. Should be pics of my new setup in the new and impoved man cave.

Ok, I did it right, I'll take some better ones of the whole man cave when I have some better light.

Okay, it looks like I won't have my PS3 by this evening. I'll be out of the race.

D3 will need someone to step up and:

  • Record who sets the pole during the first race of each round;
  • Record the results of each race;
  • Collects the votes;
  • Saves and uploads the replays;
  • Confirms the room settings and keeps things moving along (though the room is usually really good about this. Keep in mind, D3 is on a 60 second race finish delay, not a 30 second.)

Dude, I love that legacy wagon man. Im a huge wagon fan (if you cant tell from the same) and that one is nice and clean!
And if we are compairing cars then one sec, I'll pop a couple of pics I got here is a sec.

What you can do to help minimize connection and lag issues

1) Reboot your isp's modem/router prior to joining your SNAIL_DivisionX lounge.
2) Reboot your PS3 prior to joining your SNAIL_Division lounge.
3) Clear your GT5 in game System Cache prior to joining your SNAIL_Division lounge.

Step 1 is not usually necessary. I've found when my modem is on for long periods and not rebooted, I get connection issues in almost every game I play online. If you've experienced connection issues in the past, it's not going to hurt.

Thanks, I loved it. There was just no point in having two vehicles up here in the city though, so I sold it. :(

One of my friends bought it though, so at least I still get to see it every once in a while. He had the faces of the Volks powdercoated black, which I'm not a fan of. :grumpy:

Cheeb: Oh yeah, I forgot that I didnt get relegated! Opps, oh well, if no one else from d3 steps up I will gladly host it up there.

Dude: Eee! to much black. However, some gun metal or grey powdercoating would have looked good. When we got the TT, the dealership had to stock rims powdercoated black as well. Not a fan, wish we would have done gunmetal, but it was already done. How do you like the toyota?

I moved you to D3 already, no big deal though. If someone in D3 can do it then I'll move you back up.

Just so we're not scrambling at the last minute, I'll put a dealine of 7:00 P.M. Central time. Gives us plenty of time to give access to the spreadsheet etc.

S.N.A.I.L. GTP OLR Highlite

In an effort to further emphasize S.N.A.I.L.'s committment to clean and fair racing, each week I'll be posting an excerpt from the GTP OLR. Our racing bible, so to speak.

This weeks excerpt is from section 5, Rules Governing Car Contact.

It's really quite simple, do everything you can to keep your paint on your car, not on your competitors :)

05: Rules Governing Car Contact:

A: Contacts and collisions must be avoided at all costs.

B: Pushing other cars in turns or pushing them off the track is strictly prohibited.

C: Leaning on other cars is strictly prohibited in any situation.

That said, if you are the recipient of a fellow S.N.A.I.L.'s paint and the appropriate concession is not made, it is your responsibility to follow S.N.A.I.L.'s complaint process.

We strive to provide a fun, clean and fair racing environment for everyone racing in the S.N.A.I.L. club.

Enjoy tonights races 👍

dabney: I love the idea of "feature length" races, but Fridays are no good for me, either. Argh!

dude and rally: Thank your lucky stars that you got rid of that Subaru. We had a '06 (I think) Outback XT Limited. Biggest piece of crap that I've ever owned. The thing rattled like a chuck wagon starting at about 15k miles because various bits all over the interior were loose. We had to bring it in three times in the first 45k because of problems with leaking shocks. The check engine light came on due to problems with the oxygen sensors pretty much throughout the time we owned it. And the turbo blew up at 70k because Subaru put a crappy unserviceable inline oil filter in the line that feeds it. Of course those things block up pretty much without exception, the turbos get starved for oil, and they self destruct at about 75,000 RPM, potentially sending aluminum throughout the engine.

Needless to say, we sold it to CarMax as soon as we got it back from getting the turbo fixed.

Now we have a Nissan.

Kaz would be so proud.

Never had any problems with mine. I removed the infamous banjo bolt screen filter when I put in a P&P turbo and UP/DP/TMIC.

Currently tuned to 260whp/320wtq @ 21psi, and still running strong. Car is scary fast.

I did all my own installs and maintenance, so perhaps that's why I didn't have problems. :sly: Have spent enough time on the LegacyGT forums to know way too much about these cars. :lol: (as evidenced by my postcount there) :lol:

How many laps are we doing at the new car/track combos?

ROUND ONE
Mazda Roadster RS (NC) '07 (Sports Hard tires)
@Grand Valley Speedway (? laps) 5???

ROUND THREE
Nissan GT-R SpecV '09 (Racing Hard tires)
@Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca (? laps) 7???

Just wanted to let everyone know that I've opened up a shuffle racing lobby again. I had a lot of fun yesterday, and following last nights M3 GTR Challenge, zer05ive asked me to help recruit some more people for the league. If a few S.N.A.I.L.S. join in that would be great and hopefully we'll have some more people join in today. I will be posting a halfway report either before the races tonight or sometime tomorrow since the M3 GTR Challenge is now halfway complete. Last night was probably the best race I ever had.

GTP Clean Shuffle Room #: 1472 - 6118 - 4259 - 7711 - 5363

Hey Guys, due to commitments at work i will be unable to race tonight. gotta be up by 4:30 am so staying up till 12 really isnt an option. I will try my best to join some of the rooms during the week.
