That was directed at the grey car that had punted tcrash the lap before in the same situation.

Just to make sure there's no confusion, that wasn't me that punted tcrash. I heard my name tossed out there on someone's mic after the incident, but it wasn't me.

In other news, that was easily the best night of racing I've had since moving up to D1. It was cool to be up there mixing it up with the big boys (and girl) for once!

You are correct racefan, it wasn't you:). The car that punted me:ouch:,twice in two races,as per the replays ,did wait to let me take back position. Unfortunately, everyone else passed me:grumpy:.

Sorry to hear about that tcrash, but I'm also glad to hear that the person who punted you also waited for you per the GTP OLR Rules. 👍

As a reminder to everyone in the league, we have a 24-hour waiting period before the results from Sunday night are declared official. If you know of an incident where the GTP OLR Rules were violated, please follow our complaint process so that the matter is resolved as quickly and efficiently as possible. You have until tonight to file a complaint or else the results will become official and the prize selections by the D1 podium winners will commence.

That was me racefan. I didn't say you did anything, someone said a gray car and asked me if I knew what happened. I didn't. I saw some action but was a little too far back to tell exactly who was where.

In hindsight, it would have been better for me to just say no I couldn't tell.

Sorry if I gave you a start :) no really ;)

Here are the preliminary results from our league night on May 6th, 2012. This is the second night using our "PERFECT 100" points system.

Division 1
  1. M1SS-D3V10US ---- selected Prize ???
  2. GTP_esh ----------- selected Prize ???
  3. racefan78 ---------- selected Prize ???
    [*]Mighty_mopar ------ voted to eliminate Round 3

My apologies Mopar, in the room I announced you were third place. It wasn't until I went into the post race meeting that I saw racefan had one more point than you. Sorry about that. Good driving though, missing one race and still 4th 👍

The round that received the most elimination votes was:
Round 3 - Nissan GT-R SpecV '09 @Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca
Therefore it has been dropped from next week's line-up. Since ??? selected Prize A, she gets to decide which car and track will replace it.

The round that received the second most votes was:
Round 1 - Mazda Roadster RS (NC) '07 @Grand Valley Speedway
Therefore, either the car or the track will be replaced for next week's line-up. Since ??? selected Prize B, he gets to decide which is replaced and what replaces it.

I had a really tough time deciding this week. I really like the variety of the combos we had. More than enough power to get yourself in trouble, but completely driveable. And my favourite circuit is in the mix, Nurb GP/F 👍

You have until tonight to file a complaint or else the results will become official and the prize selections by the D1 podium winners will commence.

Did we change the prize selection process? Btw, the new and improved prize C! 👍

Jay is marked as being in two races. Is that correct, or should those have gone to Justin?

You're right. The fact that he didn't race in Round 1 threw me off. I've updated the results. Thanks for the heads up.

Jaysin no showed, Justin ran the first two races then split. Also, I got Skillz vote wrong. He voted for combo 1, not 2. After the last race ended, the lobby froze up on the black screen, so I took everyone vote verbally. Guess I thought I heard him and heard someone else instead. Also, no one was able to save the last replay. Luckly I was able to get everyones position before the game tried to go back to the lobby screen.

Also, if anyone else has noticed I transcribed their vote wrong, please speak up and let us know so that we can be sure the d3 vote is correct, it was hard placing everyone's voice with the right name at the end.

Devious wins too much. I propose a handicap. Someone go let all the air out of her tires.

LOL I'll take that as a compliment, thank you. That reminds me of the time when I arrived at the track in the morning only to find my car up on blocks without any wheels and a note from my fellow racers saying they would let me use their spare tires (already worn-out of course) LOL It was a joke, of course, but it was done by my own crew. Good Times... Good Times! :)

I was going to do this last week, but I didn't get higher than Prize C. So, If the results hold true (for D1) then I'm going to share my prize with the SNAIL members for this week.

I'm keeping the car selection for myself, but I'm open the track location to a vote by my fellow SNAIL members. Please make your suggests here, and I'll keep a running tally for the votes. Make your vote count. :)

Thats why I didn't put a name with it. I had seen a grey car overdrive the corner the lap before and there was a grey car coming up on me. I didn't know who was there the lap before so I took a nice safe line and messed up on my own because of that nice safe line.

On another note, I hate my damn internet. I had a 5th, a 2nd, and was going to get another 2nd or better (I had made up three seconds on Devious in two and a half laps) when my internet deceided I was done playing for the night. I didn't even get to what would have been my best combination. I have run hundreds of laps in real life at Laguna Seca and don't even have to think to get around that place.

Eidger Short Track. And I'm hoping I can sway you away from rwd. that GTR was a blast last night!

Rome reverse!

so I took a nice safe line and messed up on my own because of that nice safe line.

In qualifying at Nurb GP/F I was taking it pretty cool on my out lap, get to the long right hand 180 at the bottom of the course and because I wasn't racing, went easy on the brake. Suffice to say the crew was cleaning sand out of all the crevices between qualy and the race :)

That's a real drag, hate it when technology fails :(

Good, I was worried I had made a poor choice after having an extended run on it myself Saturday afternoon. We ended up having an pretty tight race the first go round in D1 last night. It was pretty intense.

If we're voting for tracks, I will second the motion made by rally and say Eiger short track. Just keep the car small in size.

On another side note: If you are not on a hot lap in qualifying, please get out of the way of other cars. If this means stopping out of the racing line to allow someone to go by, then do it. Please do not drive across the racing line and into the side of someones car during their hot lap. This is very annoying to the driver you end up hitting, especially when they are two tents ahead of the pole at the last trap and you knock them off track in the last corner.

hey guys, i will be finished with school by next Sunday, so i'm looking forward to getting back racing with everyone! kcheeb, could you please tell me which division I will start up in? Thanks, I've missed this!! 👍

I'm definitely voting for Eiger Short Track as well, and hopefully with a small RWD car. Something like the RX-8 would be awesome ! 👍
