Thanks for the offer Fiz, I'll keep that in mind, getting the wheel fixed today, a buddy already lent me his wheel last night so I am good to go for the duration of GT A. Also ordered the brass encoder wheel for replacement when it arrives.

It's a wheel that's used for centering the steering wheel on the G27, the stock one is plastic and cracks under heat from the motor, once it cracks, your steering wheel will be off-centered when you try to drive the car straight. The brass being metallic is more resistant to the heat.
