The combination of connection issues and a lack of time mean that I'm not sure I can make the commitment. I still like to check into this thread to see what you guys are up to but I may not be racing with you guys for a while.

So I go buy the Viper this morning. Go through the dealer paints to find a blue without the ugly stripes. Go to put my color blue on it and what do I get? A car with ugly stripes down the top of it. WTF? Why PD?! Why?

Ya it's retarded that it automatically puts stripes on cars that have stripes in it.

Bought from dealer with color that didn't have ugly stripes.
Went to paint car the color I wanted and it gets stripes. Gets them even if I decide to repaint it with the same color it was bought with.
So I reckon I'll just have to keep the car the color (one that is OK but not the color I want) from the dealership just to avoid the stripes I don't want and bought a color just so I wouldn't get, or paint it the color I want and get the stripes I don't? Not sure which choice I like better, I guess 1/2 is better than 0/2.

There are some Miata like that as well. Except you can't see the stripes at all in the dealership. They don't show up until you paint it.

Congratulations to the May RoC Champion @Kgffy
After reviewing the replays for all 3 races, I would like to congratulate the whole field; overall there was excellent racecraft displayed by all racers and even when PD made its debut and some racers could not see each other; the night was pretty much 'incident free' as far as aggressive driving.
Special mention to @aliengamer25 and @USERID_77a23; they drove beautifully!

@aerolite @ @SHOCKY_WELL trying to increase the distance from the pack (lap 1)
@Xradkins and @Kgffy had an epic battle for about 3/4 of the race trading for 1st place on many occasions
Side to Side racing at RoC
and another lead change
and the end @Kgffy edges @Xradkins by just a few hundreds of a second for the win.
@TEX36 leads the field on the start of the 3rd Round at Laguna Seca.

Unbelievable race! I actually caught myself literally holding my breath at points in the last 10 laps. If you DVR'd it, watch it ASAP, going to be hard to not get spoilers.

I settled down to watch the British Touring Car Championship run at Oulton Park this morning, and my various add-ons for watching the ITV - 4 stream were not working.
Ended up taking my daughter to the pool and cleaned out more of the garage. I may go clean some more... Saw some viable candidates yesterday at Cars and Coffee. 
With end of year school duties and a big Boy Scout trip immediately after that, I doubt I will be grabbing anything loud or shiny before mid-July. The other half tested found the Elise passenger seat too small, and the cabin a bit loud (and we hadn't even really fired up the revs), so I am working on negotiating how much she thinks she will actually be in the car vs how-loud-is-loud? I really don't want to hear a chronic complaint if I can find something that I enjoy and she can tolerate.
Back to the garage while it isn't too hot to work.
