Was racing the F3 at SPA last night with five others. A lot more fun than you would think, we had about six lead changes and .3 sec covered three of us at the end o five laps! Couldn't get the host to change to Red Bull track though

Well I went to see Dr. Nurburg last night and I have officially been diagnosed with League Fatigue

I have tried fighting it over the last few months but to no avail. My chances to race have dwindled in the last few months and I have found myself doing what I love in the game less and less. So yesterday I spent an hour at the ring simply driving one of my dreamcars. Time progression was set to 24 and it was just me and the track. I was relaxed, having fun and enjoying the beautiful sunset. What amazed me is how much better the car felt (perhaps the 1.09 update) but also how much better my driving was. I have SNAIL to thank for that.

I have improved greatly in my nearly two years hanging around this wonderful league. I have had the best races of my life and met some awesome people. I have also been humbled by the sheer speed of some SNAILs but also by the willingness of people to help others get faster. I have also seen the immense amount of time some people put in to keeping this league running. They all deserve so much more than they get for their work. Team SNAIL are the hero's of this league. If you are not on Team SNAIL you really should try to help out more.

But I have also found myself increasing frustrated with the enjoyment vs work level. I seem to be spending all my time being a SNAIL and little time driving. I have also been grumpy and irritable with the combos when I have no right to be. Add to that my schedule and the long summer days and I have just not been looking forward to Sundays. I am very lucky to live in one of the most beautiful places in the country and it is hard to pull myself away from being outdoors with my lovely wife to come home and sit in front of a screen.

So with all that I am officially with drawing from my Sunday and my Steward responsibilities at the end of June. I truly hope that some West Coast racers will take up the task of keeping the division going. It took me a long time to get the chance to run a late night league and I want to see it thrive. It is a great bunch of drivers right now and they are all closely matched. If participation numbers can increase I am convinced the race battles will be as good as any division!

I will still be around but my energy will be focused on the DTC league and spending time just driving. I hope I get to see many of you online to share some track time and I wish you all the best.

You need to open a tuning prohibited room and verify your cars are allowed, if you purchased the cars in pre-1.09 versions you will need to "Reset to Default" any adjustable items

Important Notice To All Drivers​

Click the reset to default option for every setting on the car and you will be able to enter a tuning prohibited room. Be aware that some of the tuning pages have more than one reset to default tab. You will have to select all of them that the game will let you select. You won't see anything change but it seems to tell the game that you are running stock settings. I don't know why it shows the nitrous message but it goes away after you reset all car setting to default.

I would assume this is due to the fact that some factory settings have been changed on cars with the new update. I haven't checked a lot of cars but I have already noticed the rear toe settings have been changed and the camber settings have been changed on some cars.

Cars that are acquired after 1.09 do not need to have the reset to default option clicked to enter a tuning prohibited room.

Just to be sure, I suggest that you set up a lobby with tuning prohibited and check your cars before Sunday night racing. Hosts will not be asked to wait for you to go buy another car if you can't get in. Take the three minutes to open a lobby and check your three cars so you don't waste three minutes of everyone else's time on Sunday night.
